I was scared to buy this iron because of the other reviews. But I did and when I got it it was authentic I registered it on the ghd website with no problem
Best flat iron ever.....gets very hot
A few swipes from a professional hair straightener can finish off a high ponytail, restore life to split ends, and give your natural curls a relaxed look for a night or two. No matter what your natural hair type may be, there is a hair straightener as unique as the gorgeous locks on your head! Here are just a few of our favorite hairstyles that can be achieved using a professional hair straightener like the ones we’ve reviewed here:
Love this straightener. It leaves my hair smooth and straight without frying the ends. Its also great for curling hair if you watch a few quot how to curl hair with a straightener quot youtube videos and you're able to get the hang of it so there is no need for both a curling iron and straightener. Also makes it easier to travel with less electronics. I received the hsi first and it fried my hair without even straightening it. This is the answer for all hair needs
Literally the best flat iron I have used to date. The heat is always consistent no matter if my hair is wet or dry. I love how it heats up and beeps as soon as its ready in 30 seconds or so. I only have to spend one pass in each section.
The male wig was pioneered by King Louis XIII of France (1601–1643) in 1624. Perukes or periwigs for men were introduced into the English-speaking world with other French styles in 1660. Late 17th-century wigs were very long and wavy, but became shorter in the mid-18th century, by which time they were normally white. Short hair for fashionable men was a product of the Neoclassical movement. In the early 19th century the male beard, and also moustaches and sideburns, made a strong reappearance. From the 16th to the 19th century, European women's hair became more visible while their hair coverings grew smaller. In the middle of the 18th century the pouf style developed. During the First World War, women around the world started to shift to shorter hairstyles that were easier to manage. In the early 1950s women's hair was generally curled and worn in a variety of styles and lengths. In the 1960s, many women began to wear their hair in short modern cuts such as the pixie cut, while in the 1970s, hair tended to be longer and looser. In both the 1960s and 1970s many men and women wore their hair very long and straight. In the 1980s, women pulled back their hair with scrunchies. During the 1980s, punk hairstyles were adopted by many people.

If this one is a fake at least I was able to register it with non problem and will get a guaranteed from ghd as a replacement. I dont for see having any problems... Hair in religion also plays an important role since women and men, when deciding to dedicate their life to faith, often change their haircut. Catholic nuns often cut their hair very short, and men who joined Catholic monastic orders in the eighth century adopted what was known as the tonsure, which involved shaving the tops of their heads and leaving a ring of hair around the bald crown. Many Buddhists, Hajj pilgrims and Vaisnavas, especially members of the Hare Krishna movement who are brahmacharis or sannyasis, shave their heads. Some Hindu and most Buddhist monks and nuns shave their heads upon entering their order, and Korean Buddhist monks and nuns have their heads shaved every 15 days. Adherents of Sikhism are required to wear their hair unshorn. Women usually wear it in a braid or a bun and men cover it with a turban.
usual excellent quality. Never disapointed with ghd's
“This product really deserves its five-star review. Let be really clear here, I HAVE 4C HAIR … I spend so much time detangling my hair that it is ridiculous! I mean hours, and I have tried every trick in the book. By the time I finish one section, the other has gotten tangled again. My hair is so thick that it would take me 45 minutes to blow it dry, so I just never did it. [With this brush,] I was able to blow dry my hair on the cool setting in 20 minutes. I did use heat protectant along with a leave in in as well as some black castor oil heavily on the ends. I am able to comb through my hair now. I am so relieved. I think I am going to start seeing some real growth now that I will not be putting off my wash days because I simply don’t have the time for all that detangling. Not to mention that I was always losing a lot of hair with the detangling process. … I did notice that the high setting was really hot, I just used the cool setting and it worked wonders. The bristles are very malleable and the bristle tips are rounded. I have read that some folks have had a problem getting their roots to dry. I had no problem at all. This product is well worth the price. I would have paid three times as much just to be able to part my hair without all of the tangles.”
Good quality flat iron. Recommended by my stylist for at home use
These are not a good as the origanal ghds. I use them for curling but it’s as if they don’t get hot. They don’t seem as smooth on the hair either
I love this product. I got it on Sunday and the same day I used it. I don't usually blow dry my hair because it takes me too long. I just let it air dry, but this Hair Drier is amazing. It took me less than 20 minutes to dry my entire hair. It's very practical, you can take it with you anywhere, I will be traveling and will take it with me. I will be using this every time after I wash my hair. I will not be using regular hair driers again. Truly recommended.
GHD’s “styler” is permanently set to 365 degrees Fahrenheit, which the company says is the highest temperature hair can tolerate before it becomes damaged. As a person who went from a dark brunette to blonde highlights, I can vouch for its straightening power on processed hair. And though I don’t typically think of “comfort” as a flat iron necessity, the springy hinge that connects the two plates really did make it easier to clamp and glide the tool down my hair with minimal effort.
Anyone with naturally curly hair knows that the trick to keeping your curls looking their finest is all about moisture. Whether you’re hoping to sport a straightened style for an evening or two, or just to polish your existing curls, a great hair straightener can help you get the look you’ve always wanted without causing permanent damage to your precious curls! When shopping for the perfect hair straightener for your curly hair, you’ll want to keep the following in mind:
Love love love this styler. I have very fine curly hair that requires washing or wetting every day to get the curls out. Now I can just re straighten it dry when ever I need a quick touch up. Never before had so many compliments.
The great thing about beauty is that there is something for everyone. Even as the trend these days is skewing towards plenty of texture and heatless styling, the tried-and-true flatiron still has its place. I mean, with social media going crazy over the super-sleek look of glass hair, it's clear that straight hair ain't going anywhere. After all, some of us just want smooth strands from time to time — or, depending on who you are, most of the time. But pressing your hair between two scorching-hot plates can be a recipe for a dried, sizzled, frizzy disaster. Or at least it can be if you're using the wrong flatiron. On the flip side, using a good one can make all the world of difference. And that's where we come in. We've scoured the world of flatirons to bring you the best of the best, at a range of price points. So whether you've got the coins for an affordable Conair or can shell out the big bucks for a Harry Josh, these 20 straighteners will give you that just-back-from-the-salon look — minus the scorch.
although they are selling a red version on their own website today for slightly less. So if you thought this was too cheap to be an authentic product don't worry. It isn't.
If you have ever visited a luxury spa or wellness company, you have probably run across far infrared heat a time or two. Without going into too much science, infrared heat is the same heat you feel when the sun kisses your cheeks and warms your body from the inside-out. Far infrared heat, in particular, has been used by medical and wellness professionals for years to treat a variety of conditions from muscle pain to even cancer.
The mysterious product that smells earthy and looks like wet sand… is good for your hair? The answer is: YES! Think of it this way; the more natural smelling, the more natural the ingredients. Clay products DO contain clay, mostly what’s called bentonite clay, which has highly absorbent properties. Clay is best used for building volume, absorbing oil and grease and drawing out impurities that can cause HAIR LOSS! Barbers choose to style with clay over other products because of its clean feel, density and ability to sculpt super flexible hairstyles. Clay products are NOT sticky, which you will find in some waxes and pomades.
great product. Top quality I bought in recommendation of my daughter and boy is this worth it
Arrived on time product just as described this is my second pair of ghd's and I wouldn't be without them. A girls best friend. Would definitely recommend.
While there are a lot of great options to choose from, our all-around top pick is the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener. Featuring unique, keratin-infused plates for optimal shine and less damage, the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener proves that technology really can make a difference when it comes to hair care! We also love this model’s innovative smart heat sensors that protect hair from heat damage and lock in moisture.
I recently just had a funeral for my ghd classic 1 inch hair straightener after one of the blades stopped heating. I have had this hair straightner for almost 4 years longer than any of my relationships. It is absolutely amazing and I am defintiely buying another. I have went through all kinds of straighteners such as chi and paul mitchell. A chi will only last me a year. After a couple chi's this was confirmed case. I used my ghd every day and I dropped it religiously and it has lasted much longer than expected. My mother and younger sister have the same ghd that I used and is currently four years old too and is still working. It is worth the price by far and the quality and durablility is great. It also comes with a two year warranty which is twice as long as most. It heats up in a snap and it shuts off automatically if I accidently leave it on. I have thick curly horse like hair and this thing makes it pretty. I will continue to cry on the inside until my new ghd comes in. Love you ghd
I bought this knowing that it had great reviews and hoping that I wouldn't receive a fake like some others had reported in their reviews. I was fortunate enough to receive the real ghd classic styler successfully registered it on the ghd website and have loved it every single time I used it.i am half puerto rican with very naturally curly hair and this works wonders. It offers a all day straightening power and works wonderfully when I use it to curl the ends of my hair also.if you can take the risk of possibly getting a fake I highly recommend this product. Well worth every penny.
Best hair straightener I have ever used
Before curling, make sure your locks are completely dry and well combed. Put a heat protectant. Divide your hair into strands. Take one strand and run a flat iron through, twisting as you go. To get the better result, pin your curls and seal them with hairspray. Repeat until all strands are done. When your curls have cooled, release and gently brush them.
I totally love my ghd. When I was buying it here I was a bit skeptical. However almost two years now and my thing is doing great. I love it.
I was scared to buy this iron because of the other reviews. But I did and when I got it it was authentic I registered it on the ghd website with no problem
the best worth every penny
Between 27 BC and 102 AD, in Imperial Rome, women wore their hair in complicated styles: a mass of curls on top, or in rows of waves, drawn back into ringlets or braids. Eventually noblewomen's hairstyles grew so complex that they required daily attention from several slaves and a stylist in order to be maintained. The hair was often lightened using wood ash, unslaked lime and sodium bicarbonate, or darkened with copper filings, oak-apples or leeches marinated in wine and vinegar. It was augmented by wigs, hairpieces and pads, and held in place by nets, pins, combs and pomade. Under the Byzantine Empire, noblewomen covered most of their hair with silk caps and pearl nets.
Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it. Got it for cheaper than they sell the same one at those make up stores in the mall.
Due in large part to the damage we inflicted on our poor locks during this time, we’ve learned that heat protection isn’t just a luxury: it’s mandatory when it comes to hair straightening. That’s why so many hair straighteners now feature conditioners built right into the plates. We also learned that excess heat can cause permanent damage to hair, so now many flat irons come with automatic turn-off features or self-adjusting heat settings. Well, as the saying goes, there is no progress without a bit of struggle and our hair certainly struggled during the early 2000’s!
It has ceramic plates, which work on all hair types to effectively smooth and add waves and curls, depending on your desired finish. The result is incredibly shiny and frizz-free locks, which look styled to perfection. The straighteners also have a unique hibernation mode, which means they will turn off automatically after 30 minutes, so you can be sure they can’t cause damage.
I have 3a 3b curls so I need a high quality flat iron that won't burn my hair. I used to have a hai then a babylis. Both were very nice. Then I borrowed my friend's ghd on vacation and got spoiled. It got my hair flat and shiny. I was very impressed. When my daughter knocked our babylis over and it stopped working I knew I wanted a ghd to replace it. I watched the price here and when it dipped down low enough I bought it. I am very happy. It doesn't get as hot as my babylis but it still works amazingly. I was able to register the ghd on the website hologram and date code are on the arm not the tag . Highly recommend this product and seller
Easy to use styler no waiting for long periods of time for it to heat. It heats within seconds.

You won’t go wrong with the Nicky Clarke Frizz Control 1200watt Blow Dry Styler NHA045 which is designed especially to minimise frizz. Even if you’re in damp or humid conditions you’ll be amazed at how well your curl lasts. It has been made using ionic technology so neutralising positive ions found in the atmosphere (these create frizz and dull hair) and in turn produces a smooth, glossy curl.
Bought these on the recommendation of nearly every female I know and I haven't been disappointed they arrived promptly well wrapped and I checked them on the official ghd site straight away. I have had sleek straight hair ever since...... They heat up quickly and the flashing light is a great guide to help remind to switch them off. A great price too considering most pairs I've seen are well over 100 quid.
