I have curly hair and so it always took me much longer to straighten my hair. I saw my sister had this straightner and so I tried using hers and it took me about 10 min to get my hair totally straight anyways my other straightner had broke so I bought this one and it's really really good. Would very much recommend
why did I wait so long to buy these straightners they are fantastic I have had another make for years and thought they were good for my hair which is thick and strong. Since using ghd I now know why friends have been asking me to get ghd. My hair is so much sleeker. Great

I finally bought this after my old hair straightener nearly caused an electrical fire when the wires frayed. My sister has had her ghd for many years and she uses her daily. She has been trying to convince me to buy one for a long time claiming it was the best straightener on the market but I hesitated because of the price. I have had mine for a year now and I have no regrets it straightens perfectly and I also use it to create perfect curls and waves. It has an automatic shutoff and I just feel like it is better quality and safer than my last one. Now I am joining my sister in convincing everyone to buy one too worth the price for something you use on your hair every day
Have been wanting a pair of ghds for ages but couldn't justify the cost got these for 78.00 and well worth the money. I've only had them a week but I've already used them for straightening and curling. They just make styling easy and glide through the hair smoothly. I've got thick curly hair and my hair stayed shiny straight and manageable even after I had been out in the adverse weather conditions usually only have to look at a cloud and my hair kinks and frizzes registered the product on the ghd website straight away no problems there.very happy just wish I'd bought them sooner and saved myself the stress of styling my hair and then having to put it up before I've even arrived at work because it's been ruined in the heat humidity wet.can't fault the product or amazon fast delivery great
From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]
product arrived on time ghd's in my opinion continue to be the best straighteners on the market. Absolutely fabulous 5 5. Would recommend to anyone.
I was not expecting this kind of straightener from ghd. Complete waste of money. Cheap quality straightener.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this flat iron but it is really amazing. It is ready really quickly less than 20 seconds and straightens styles my hair quickly. The straightening is even seeming to last into a second day. Can't say that about my old one ... Highly recommend as a sidenote it was an authentic ghd I was able to verify register it with ghd with no problems.
After the war, women started to wear their hair in softer, more natural styles. In the early 1950s women's hair was generally curled and worn in a variety of styles and lengths. In the later 1950s, high bouffant and beehive styles, sometimes nicknamed B-52s for their similarity to the bulbous noses of the B-52 Stratofortress bomber, became popular.[31] During this period many women washed and set their hair only once a week, and kept it in place by wearing curlers every night and reteasing and respraying it every morning.[32] In the 1960s, many women began to wear their hair in short modern cuts such as the pixie cut, while in the 1970s, hair tended to be longer and looser. In both the 1960s and 1970s many men and women wore their hair very long and straight.[2] Women straightened their hair through chemical straightening processes, by ironing their hair at home with a clothes iron, or by rolling it up with large empty cans while wet.[33] African-American men and women began wearing their hair naturally (unprocessed) in large Afros, sometimes ornamented with Afro picks made from wood or plastic.[14] By the end of the 1970s the Afro had fallen out of favour among African-Americans, and was being replaced by other natural hairstyles such as corn rows and dreadlocks.[34]
If you are looking for faster results, a hair straightening brush is more appropriate – it is a hybrid between a brush and a straightening iron, used best on dried hair and effective even for the most unruly naturally curly hair. You can use the straightening brush on hair that is washed and dried, and obtain the straightening iron results with  much easier and intuitive brushing move.
