Apart from getting and paying for an extra ghd the product arrived successfully and was well received.

this curling iron is awesome. It gets hot in seconds and holds the heat from start to finish. It is definitely worth the money I spent on it.

Perfect for straightening, curling or waving, this straightener features high-gloss titanium floating plates for a smooth glide, and advanced ceramic heaters to ensure fast and even heat distribution. Utilizing Ion Boost Technology, the straighteners deliver active conditioning ions to help hair look smoother and shinier, and are housed in strong, lightweight steel with curved edges to keep the plates aligned and allow you to create effortless curls and flicks. Versatile and easy to use, this amazing tool is the perfect choice for anyone who needs a tool that can do it all!

In short YES! You absolutely can use too much heat on your hair. Burning hair is not a good smell, it’s not a good look either! You may end up having to get a pretty severe haircut if you’re not careful about the amount of heat you put directly on your locks. Read through this to get an idea of what’s safe and what will leave you wishing for a good trim (or possibly a wig).
The nano ceramic plates in this straightener deliver far-infrared heat, a gentler alternative in and of itself. As if that weren't enough, there's also a reservoir where you can pour in some of the (included) argan treatment and thermal protectant, creating a conditioning steam that will strengthen and safeguard strands while you straighten. Admittedly an extra step, sure, but one that's well worth it.
original ghd stylers registered them on the official website to make sure they were ghd would definitely recommend this product don't be deceived by the price they are definitely original
I love this product. I got it on Sunday and the same day I used it. I don't usually blow dry my hair because it takes me too long. I just let it air dry, but this Hair Drier is amazing. It took me less than 20 minutes to dry my entire hair. It's very practical, you can take it with you anywhere, I will be traveling and will take it with me. I will be using this every time after I wash my hair. I will not be using regular hair driers again. Truly recommended.

this came highly recommended by a friend and I have been very pleased with it. I used to blow dry my hair and this is a quicker solution. Very good quality.

So, when it comes to hair care, it is no surprise that the healing benefits of infrared technology would make their way into the industry sooner or later! The far infrared technology in the CHI Air Expert Classic Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron leaves your hair looking and feeling smoother and silkier than ever before, while helping to restore your strands to their naturally strong and beautiful thickness.

It still works just as well as the first day I bought it. It is a very quality and reliable flat iron that holds up to its award winning standards. Since buying this product I have noticed more shine to my hair as well as little to no frizzing. It is effective in keeping my hair straight and smooth all day. In fact I have had friend’s use this styling tool and purchase it after using it because they loved how quick and easily it flat ironed their hair.before I purchased the ghd I used a chi flat iron compared to a chi straightener the ghd keeps my hair looking healthier and less dry. After using this product I would not return to using a chi straightener because of the positive effect the ghd has had on my hair. Although the cost is high it delivers the promised performance. This product is designed for men and women with thick and curly hair looking to straighten their hair in a fast and healthy way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that flat iron’s his or her hair on a regular basis
Features like this prove that hair straighteners really have come a long way over the last decade, and the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener certainly doesn’t disappoint in this regard! When the terror of hair damage is removed from everyday straightening, there’s no limit to the styles you can create with a hair straightener like this making this an ideal choice for novice and expert stylists alike!
I love this one had one before it broke used another for about a year glad to be back. Doesn't overheat.
As one of the hottest hair straighteners we have reviewed (temperature-wise…although it is pretty to look at, we have to admit…), the Solano Sleek Heat 450 Professional Flat Iron can reach temperatures of up to 450° F in as little as 60 seconds! This Solano hair straightener also features thin 1 inch plates, making it an ideal choice for anyone with short or medium length hair and the quick heat time ensures that even the most stubborn of curls can be tackled with a little extra heat. If you are looking or something a little larger though, it is also available with 1.54-inch plates too.
The plate is the part of the hair straightener that heats up and used to press your hair. Now, hair straighteners come in different plate materials and sizes. Most plates have a width of 1 inch which work for most people and that’s perfectly fine. However, to really get the most out of your flat iron, you’ll need to consider your hair and styling needs when deciding plate size.
amazing styler curls my stubborn hair perfectly
bought this as a replacement for the last pair. Purchased the same as before as tried and tested for years. Love ghd wouldn't have anything else

I recently just had a funeral for my ghd classic 1 inch hair straightener after one of the blades stopped heating. I have had this hair straightner for almost 4 years longer than any of my relationships. It is absolutely amazing and I am defintiely buying another. I have went through all kinds of straighteners such as chi and paul mitchell. A chi will only last me a year. After a couple chi's this was confirmed case. I used my ghd every day and I dropped it religiously and it has lasted much longer than expected. My mother and younger sister have the same ghd that I used and is currently four years old too and is still working. It is worth the price by far and the quality and durablility is great. It also comes with a two year warranty which is twice as long as most. It heats up in a snap and it shuts off automatically if I accidently leave it on. I have thick curly horse like hair and this thing makes it pretty. I will continue to cry on the inside until my new ghd comes in. Love you ghd
Love my ghd had it for 3 yrs and still perfect
although they are selling a red version on their own website today for slightly less. So if you thought this was too cheap to be an authentic product don't worry. It isn't.
The oldest known reproduction of hair braiding lies back about 30,000 years: the Venus of Willendorf, now known in academia as the Woman of Willendorf, of a female figurine from the Paleolithic, estimated to have been made between about 28,000 and 25,000 BCE.[8] The Venus of Brassempouy counts about 25,000 years old and indisputably shows hairstyling.
Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it. Got it for cheaper than they sell the same one at those make up stores in the mall.
From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]

still have my ghd to this day and love it my daughter has one also. Literally only takes seconds to heat up and beeps when ready. It gets hot and I mean hot so I use a heat styling product with it. I can't tell you how many times I decided at the last minute I needed to straighten and I only had 10 15 minutes or even 5 for a real quick top layer straightening as apposed to 40 60 minutes. I was able to plug it in turn it on and within seconds it was hot and ready to go I know it's pricey but it has great bones and I love the ceramic plates on it. It really is an outstanding and superior product compared to the stuff sold at your corner pharmacy or other large nearby retailer.
If you have stubborn, never-listens-to-me-no-matter-what-I-do hair, titanium is the material you need to set your eye on. Titanium is a metal that is excellent at conducting heat which means that your plates heat up quickly. This metal also keeps heat consistent so there are minimal changes in temperature that could damage your hair in the long run. What makes this great for thick, curly, unruly hair is that it can reach and maintain a high heat for quite a bit of time AND emit 60% more negative ions than ceramic. These two characteristics mean that you get to de-frizz your hair in a shorter amount of time with fewer number of passes.
I was worried that because ghd's are so powerful they would make my hair like straw but they have made my hair feel like I have been to the hairdresses everytime I straighten it I am very pleased with them as it has they are so quick and easy to use and heat up in no time. I would suggest them to anyone
