ohh yess I gotta love thiss one it doesnt pull ur hair pretty cool right I love it I straighten my hair in minutes and my hair is soo long long long like all the way to my waist omg I love this iron
Once you have a pair of ghds you will never go back to anything else.
Wax on, wax off; we bet that’s the most in-depth thinking you’ve given to wax. Not only is it unclear how or what the stuff is, most companies slap labeling on products even when they’re not technically a wax! Here’s the deal, wax products feel just like the name says; waxy. They will feel spongy and have a thicker grip when you work it between your hands and leaves hair with a natural matte finish that can have a bit of shine. If you’re into edgy hairstyles with exaggerated lines and textured, piecey strands, then wax is ideal. The light shine also makes it perfect for formal styles like pompadours.

wow purchased to replace existing ghd straighteners but these are even better.
These flatirons are a great investment. I loved the results. For styling black hair. I would advise to curl you hair first and then apply oil. The irons gives a better curl on less greasy hair. It made my hair silky.
Great flat iron does the job well.
My friend recommend this flat iron and I am so glad she did it works wonderfully. Heats up very quickly and beeps when its ready for use. Does a great job of straightening my long hair and it lasts until my next wash. Worth the money
EDITOR’S CHOICE: CHI has and always will be a powerhouse brand in the hair straightener industry, and the company’s new G2 Ceramic and Titanium Flat Iron is no exception! Packed with ceramic and titanium technology, this hair straightener was designed to give you silky, shiny styles without snags. We also love its easy-to-read, color-coded temperature settings, so you know the temperatures that you are using at any given time!
If you are looking for volume for your fine hair then I would recommend the Vidal Sassoon VSHA6471UK which is a superb hot air styler.  Designed especially to give lift and volume from the root it will give you enviable curls and waves.  It is supplied with two brush sizes 19mm and 25mm so it’s ideal for shorter styles too (use the smaller brush) and gives a pleasing smooth finish that is tangle free.  You cannot fault the price either, on Amazon.co.uk this retails below the price of a salon blow-out.
7 21 14 I purchased this flat iron on may 25 2013. I've used this product every day since then with no issues. Also the styler is not a fake and I was able to register it on ghd's website with no problem. I only buy products that are ship and sold from amazon.com only maybe that is why so many people have received fakes I'm not sure. I have course thick hair and this flat iron has been wonderful. The plates are hot but doesn't damage my hair or the ends. I would recommend this flat iron.
Ghd make fantastic hair straighteners it's as simple as that. My girlfriend won't use any other make. This gold professional limited edition styler is very stylish and looks fantastic but most importantly it goes a great job as a hair straightener.
this was a birthday present for my daughter and she received it by her birthday and was extremely happy with it. Works great with her corse hair.
High quality reasonable price and quick arrival. What do you want more thank you so much it was a pleasure dealing with you
I am absolutely in love with this ghd styler I had tried the chi first and returned it right away... This one does what I expected and more it straightens my hair curls it and keeps it healthy it is worth every penny I paid ....

I have 3a 3b curls so I need a high quality flat iron that won't burn my hair. I used to have a hai then a babylis. Both were very nice. Then I borrowed my friend's ghd on vacation and got spoiled. It got my hair flat and shiny. I was very impressed. When my daughter knocked our babylis over and it stopped working I knew I wanted a ghd to replace it. I watched the price here and when it dipped down low enough I bought it. I am very happy. It doesn't get as hot as my babylis but it still works amazingly. I was able to register the ghd on the website hologram and date code are on the arm not the tag . Highly recommend this product and seller
Historically, working-class people's haircuts have tended to be practical and simple. Working-class men have often shaved their heads or worn their hair close-cropped, and working-class women have typically pulled their hair up and off their faces in simple styles. However, today, working-class people often have more elaborate and fashion-conscious hairstyles than other social classes. Many working-class Mexican men in American cities wear their hair in styles like the Mongolian (shaved except for a tuft of hair at the nape of the neck) or the rat tail (crewcut on top, tuft at the nape), and African-Americans often wear their hair in complex patterns of box braids and cornrows, fastened with barrettes and beads, and sometimes including shaved sections or bright colour. Sociologists say these styles are an attempt to express individuality and presence in the face of social denigration and invisibility.[47]
In many cultures, including Hindu culture and among the Wayana people of the Guiana highlands, young people have historically shaved off their hair to denote coming-of-age. Women in India historically have signified adulthood by switching from wearing two braids to one. Among the Rendille of north-eastern Kenya and the Tchikrin people of the Brazilian rainforest, both men and women shave their heads after the death of a close family member. When a man died in ancient Greece, his wife cut off her hair and buried it with him,[39] and in Hindu families, the chief mourner is expected to shave his or her head 3 days after the death.[43]
Sure, the drugstore flat iron you used on its highest setting back in the day was clunky and had a tendency to fry your hair if you glanced away for more than a second, and okay fine, your mom probably told you that you looked a little “emo” from time to time. Luckily, those days are long gone and hair straighteners have truly come a long way since the days of The Jersey Shore.

It has ceramic plates, which work on all hair types to effectively smooth and add waves and curls, depending on your desired finish. The result is incredibly shiny and frizz-free locks, which look styled to perfection. The straighteners also have a unique hibernation mode, which means they will turn off automatically after 30 minutes, so you can be sure they can’t cause damage.
my styler seems to be legitimate and has the shiny sticker and seems to be correct in all other ways. It does indeed work so that really is all that matters. I was given this free for an honest review. I have to say overall I like this styler. It is the perfect size for my hair as it is short and medium in thickness. The styler it self is a little heavy to hold up for long periods so just be warned about that and it rolls on my counter top. It heats up quick and works great though and I love that I can curl or straighten and it has an auto shut off in case I forget to turn it off that is the best feature to any styler in my opinion so I do not burn my house down . Also this one in particular looks very nice not that it matters for functionality but it is a pretty iron. I was able to straighten my hair in far less time than my previous straightener and it seems also I am not using nearly as much heat. So I love this styler and my only complaint is that it is a bit clunky to hold.

ordered straight from amazon. Was able to register on ghd site love this straightner had a chi before but it broke after 5 years of having it and someone told me to try this and im glad I did

Creative director of GLAMSQUAD Giovanni Vaccaro prefers this flat iron by Sedu. "The ceramic plates are really key to maintain the integrity and healthiness of the hair," he says. To get expertly straight hair, Vaccaro recommends using a boar-bristle brush to help mediate frizz, and that "the follow through is key" when moving the iron and comb completely from roots to tips.
auto heat so you don’t have to manually set the temp. My previous iron I had to manually set which I found out I was putting way to much heat on my hair. Saw this iron for almost half the price here on amazon. Literally takes seconds to heat up. Just love it
I bought these ghd straightners when my current straightners not ghd started to die. Everyone had said these were great so I thought I would give them a try. So far I have definitely not been disappointed the result after using them is a much sleeker softer and of course straighter finish than any others I have used. I would thoroughly recommend buying them even if they are a bit more than you would normally spend.the delivery was also amazing as they arrived a day and a half after I ordered them. Very happy customer
Ghd is the best hair styler I've ever got it's very fast in heating up .. And you'll be ready in no timeit would be great if it included a glove though

I haven't checked to see if its registered and original but it is phenomenal love it
I was not expecting this kind of straightener from ghd. Complete waste of money. Cheap quality straightener.
Wife loves this thing. The auto off feature really makes me a happy camper too.
I use this daily. I have medium length naturally almost curly hair. I switched from a chi to this product at the recommendation of my hairdresser and love it I feel like chi went down in quality after my last purchase so I wanted a new brand. I like that it has the auto shutoff after a length of time so I don't have to worry about burning down my house if I forget about it. I will stay loyal to this product as long as the quality stays.
I was worried that the flat iron was a fake so I was really relieved when I was able to register the product on ghd's website. After years of using a cheap flat iron that I bought at cvs I decided that I would invest in a good flat iron. After turning on the flat iron you will hear a beep. You'll hear 2 beeps in about 10 seconds which indicates that the flat iron is ready to use. It warms up so quickly. It makes my hair so shiny and straight. I love it.

With this hair straightener, you also get adjustable heat settings that range from 140 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit which means that it’s perfect for use whether you have thin, delicate hair or stubborn, coarse locks. We love that it has a 360-degree swivel cord, it heats up quickly, and the fact that it’s dual voltage compatible. You even get a thermal protective glove plus some leave-in argan oil with your purchase.

my girlfriend has wanted some of these for ages so I got her some for christmas. Guys...if you need to buy one present for your lady then get these I couldn't have chosen better she wanted me to give this rating 5.5 stars

During the 1920s and 1930s, Japanese women began wearing their hair in a style called mimi-kakushi (literally, "ear hiding"), in which hair was pulled back to cover the ears and tied into a bun at the nape of the neck. Waved or curled hair became increasingly popular for Japanese women throughout this period, and permanent waves, though controversial, were extremely popular. Bobbed hair also became more popular for Japanese women, mainly among actresses and moga, or "cut-hair girls," young Japanese women who followed Westernized fashions and lifestyles in the 1920s.[27]

If you’ve ever used a CHI hair straightener before, then you’re probably pretty well acquainted with the turn dial temperature control of models’ past. While this dial design made it easy to switch on your hair straightener each morning (even before you have had your morning coffee!), it also made it all too easy to accidentally change the temperature during use.
Cannot get better than the ghd's. Excellent buy for my daughter. Bought the protective treatment aswell for the hair. I wouldn't purchase any other type of straightener.
best straightener ever I've been straightening my hair for years nothing compares to the ghd highly recommended for anyone whether you want to curl or straighten your hair.

The VAV hair straightener heats up in about 30 seconds, and you can select the required level of heat from 284°F to 446°F. The buttons are placed in between the plates, so it may be a little inconvenient to adjust the temperature. The current heat level is shown on the LED display. This flat iron can be used for both straightening and curling due to its thin plates.
Absolutely love this styler. I have extremely thick hair and have so many issues with my previous chi pulling my hair out. The ghd does not pull at all. Not only does it heat up super quick but it gives me a perfect do in no time a must buy
Great product and fast shipping.

as a hairstylist I'm picky about my tools. Read great reviews on this flat iron and it was on a sale. Came in a gorgeous box the tool itself is sleek and slim. Great design. Heats up in 15 seconds. Perfect grip. Love it
4 Out of 5 for ghd am I mad well not quite. These are excellent and certainly professional level instruments. Balanced good weight easy to use except and thoroughly well designed.hairdryer is quiet ish with more than enough power and settings to deal with most types of hair and styles. All in all an absolute delight.straighteners are almost perfect this is where the the small problem lies. First of all the good bits. Solid construction good smooth plates well balanced. Now the issue the settings. I know these are probably are professional and my gripe may be invalid but the heat setting is not high enough. Could be a decision made people who use them all day but for a once a day use I'd have preferred to be able to turn the heat up.
The great thing about beauty is that there is something for everyone. Even as the trend these days is skewing towards plenty of texture and heatless styling, the tried-and-true flatiron still has its place. I mean, with social media going crazy over the super-sleek look of glass hair, it's clear that straight hair ain't going anywhere. After all, some of us just want smooth strands from time to time — or, depending on who you are, most of the time. But pressing your hair between two scorching-hot plates can be a recipe for a dried, sizzled, frizzy disaster. Or at least it can be if you're using the wrong flatiron. On the flip side, using a good one can make all the world of difference. And that's where we come in. We've scoured the world of flatirons to bring you the best of the best, at a range of price points. So whether you've got the coins for an affordable Conair or can shell out the big bucks for a Harry Josh, these 20 straighteners will give you that just-back-from-the-salon look — minus the scorch.
I've had this straightener for a few years now and it still works just as well as the day I got it. I've even had professional hair stylists tell me that this straightener is the best. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it because you won't be buying a new one for a very long time.
authentic heats up immediately and straightens in no time. Worth the

had no problems registering. This is my second ghd styler. My first one is almost 10 years old and still works great. Had to buy a second when my daughter took my first one to college with her. These used to be super pricey back in the day but are very affordable now. Hope they are as durable and well made. Looks almost identical to my old one.
I like soo much I needed a product like this. Really it is the best in the market. The price was the best too
When putting your hair under the intense heat of a flat iron or hair straightener, you’ll probably find that breakage and damage are that much more common. And that’s why we absolutely love the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener! Packed with all sort of high-tech features and gizmos, LumaBella’s hair straightener achieves salon-worthy results without the harsh damage of most styling devices for a natural, healthy shine with each use!
I was a bit worried with buying a ghd hair straightener over the internet and I thought the cheaper price was too good to be true but I was able to do some research and was delighted to discover that the ghd I was sent was a genuine product it works great.
after reading all the stuff about fake ghd flat irons I panicked and registered mine online. It went through fine. Mine says manufactured in china but I guess it is the real deal I have loved how my hair looks

why did I wait so long to buy these straightners they are fantastic I have had another make for years and thought they were good for my hair which is thick and strong. Since using ghd I now know why friends have been asking me to get ghd. My hair is so much sleeker. Great

absolutely love it the right size and high quality item. 100 Recommended it works perfect on my hair.
holy crap this hair straighter is awesome heats up hella quick and does an amazing job I have super thick long hair and it works wonders I had no problem registering it with ghd. It is hands down the most impressive straighter I have ever used. I don't think its possible to love a hair product more than I love this thing.

In summary, you will want to buy a hair brush straightener that has a lower temp range, from about 250-300° (any temps higher than that and you are likely to damage your hair – start at the lowest temp possible and work up if needed). You will also want to consider a ceramic model they will heat evenly and a bit more slowly and will not create hot spots which can damage fine hair.
I have been using this for over 2 years. Lightweight and very effective. The only con you cannot regulate temperature. And this was authentic checked on the ghd website.
great straighten gets hot fast and works quickly only have to move through hair 1 2 times and its perfectly styled have tried other brands and this is the best one
Airstyling is a great way of adding natural volume, body and shine to your hair. Our auto rotating airstyler can be rotated in both directions, making it easy to handle and to use to create a variety of styles. It also comes with a 50mm thermobrush – the ultimate accessory for adding body and movement – and should be used on nearly dry hair for salon blow dry results.
This hair brush straightener is well-designed and comfortable to hold, with a 360° swivel power cord that lets you position the brush at any angle you find optimal. It comes packaged with a heat-resistant glove, in a gorgeous gift box. And somewhat surprisingly for a high-end product, it’s priced very reasonably. The team had no trouble ranking the Glamfields brush at #1.

Since the 1970s, women have worn their hair in a wide variety of fairly natural styles. In the 1980s, women pulled back their hair with scrunchies, stretchy ponytail holders made from cloth over fabric bands. Women also often wear glittery ornaments today, as well as claw-style barrettes used to secure ponytails and other upswept or partially upswept hairstyles.[14] Today, women and men can choose from a broad range of hairstyles, but they are still expected to wear their hair in ways that conform to gender norms: in much of the world, men with long hair and women whose hair doesn't appear carefully groomed may face various forms of discrimination, including harassment, social shaming or workplace discrimination.[35] This is somewhat less true of African-American men, who wear their hair in a variety of styles that overlap with those of African-American women, including box braids and cornrows fastened with rubber bands and dreadlocks.[36]
In the 1800s, American women started wearing their hair up when they became ready to get married. Among the Fulani people of west Africa, unmarried women wear their hair ornamented with small amber beads and coins, while married women wear large amber ornaments. Marriage is signified among the Toposa women of South Sudan by wearing the hair in many small pigtails. Unmarried Hopi women have traditionally worn a "butterfly" hairstyle characterized by a twist or whorl of hair at each side of the face.[42]
love ghd’s and price was great
