Introducing ghd curve®, the new range of curling irons & wands from ghd. Featuring tri-zone® technology for gorgeous, shiny, bouncy curls that last as long as you do. The protective cool tip provides you with a safe place to hold the hair in place while you curl, and the built-in safety stand allows you to place the wand down securely during styling.
If you’ve ever used a CHI hair straightener before, then you’re probably pretty well acquainted with the turn dial temperature control of models’ past. While this dial design made it easy to switch on your hair straightener each morning (even before you have had your morning coffee!), it also made it all too easy to accidentally change the temperature during use.
This edition of ghd has luxury christmas present written all over it plus points impressive packaging that is eye catching made of heavy cardboard and signalling a luxury product.quilted case with mirrored blue button and separator for the straighteners and it’s flex to be kept separately.quality heat may that is detachable from the case.beautifully designed straighteners in the same electric blue as the packaging with a silicone heat shield at the end.safety features cut off after 30 mins and a noise alerts you to them being plugged in being switched on or being switched off.the switch is inside the straightener so that you don’t accidentally turn it off as you are straightening your hair.plates glide through hair creating straightness without effort and as they are at the optimum 185 degrees without that crimped look at the top where you first inserted the plates.improvements that would’ve made it a 5 I needed a slightly longer flex maybe another 1 2 metre.i miss the option to choose the temperature that I had on my old straighteners. I appreciate their advice about 185 degrees being the setting that works best but I have very fine hair which is also frizzy and like to have a choice so that I can accommodate what my hair is up to that day.

Best iron ever.. Works wonders in just a few strokes and few minutes.

Ghd is the best hair styler I've ever got it's very fast in heating up .. And you'll be ready in no timeit would be great if it included a glove though

The oldest known reproduction of hair braiding lies back about 30,000 years: the Venus of Willendorf, now known in academia as the Woman of Willendorf, of a female figurine from the Paleolithic, estimated to have been made between about 28,000 and 25,000 BCE.[8] The Venus of Brassempouy counts about 25,000 years old and indisputably shows hairstyling.
this is the original because I registered it with ghd. The flat iron is light weight and you only have to go over your hair once. I am an indian with long and very frizzy hair and this flat iron does the trick. It leaves the hair straight and smooth highly recommended.
the ghd works wonders on my hair. I have naturally wavy hair that can be difficult to straighten but this product takes care of business. I am definitely hooked definitely worth the money.
Very happy with the ghd iv styler a replacement for my previous ones that I had for a good few years.money well spent.
bought these as a replacement for my very old ghd's. As usual I have not been disappointed. I've tried other cheaper straighteners and none can bet these. My older ones still work but I wanted the automatic shut off which is great. Super fast shipment and well packaged. Over all really pleased.
I have been using straighteners for a number of years but not until now have I found the best yet... They are very kind to my hair and make a huge difference... I will always use ghd's from here on in.
My first pair of ghd hair straighteners lasted 10 years and were in regular use so I did not hesitate in ordering another pair. The ghd iv stylers are every bit as good and definitely value for money they 'beep' when switched on and 'beep' agian when the irons are ready for use. The cord is flexible so it doesn't twist or tangle and the plates cool down quickly so can be stored away in record time. Overall I am delighted with this product and would not hesitate to recommend ghd as the 'rolls royce' of stylers.
Best straighteners for my wild hair. Keeps it under control in humid weather conditions. I have used ghd straighteners for at least 10 years and my previous ones died of old age
despite some of the reviews I bought the product and fell in love I love how shiny and soft my hair feels once I've straightened. This along with a straightening comb leaves my hair pin straight and flawless. I love it

I must say…ghd produces the best hair straightener. Have tried various brands of hair straighteners in the past and this brand is definitely worth the investment. As they say..once you go ghd..you never go back
So let me clear up some of the mixed reviews. When you click on the link to this straightener the ghd classic styler the item is sold by different sellers. So someone who buys today may not buy from the same place that had the straightener yesterday. Which explains why some have received fakes. Click on the seller read the reviews about them do your research.however with that being said I purchased mine from salon logistix my ghd was authentic and I was able register it with the ghd site. I straightened my hair 30 minutes ago with it and am so happy with my purchase. I have natural caucasian hair but my waves are deep and usually take a couple passes to go away. This straightener ironed them out in about 2 passes. It heats up in seconds makes little beeps when turned on and hot and never snagged my hair huge problem with my chi . I would definitely recommend this straightener I previously paid 250 for a t3 mane tamer this ghd does just as well and for less than half the price
During the First World War, women around the world started to shift to shorter hairstyles that were easier to manage. In the 1920s women started for the first time to bob, shingle and crop their hair, often covering it with small head-hugging cloche hats. In Korea, the bob was called tanbal.[28] Women began marcelling their hair, creating deep waves in it using heated scissor irons. Durable permanent waving became popular also in this period:[29] it was an expensive, uncomfortable and time-consuming process, in which the hair was put in curlers and inserted into a steam or dry heat machine. During the 1930s women began to wear their hair slightly longer, in pageboys, bobs or waves and curls.[13]
I previously owned a basic chi for about 4 years until it recently stopped working. I bought this one after using a friend's ghd styler and I love it it does a much better job than my chi ever did and my hair stays straight for longer

Bought these at a very reasonable price and they are great.they arrived within the week of ordering them which was also great.

if u straten your hair a lot this is the strainer 4u it totally works its awesome it handles hair good
If hair is pinned too tightly, or the whole updo slips causing pulling on the hair in the follicle at the hair root, it can cause aggravation to the hair follicle and result in headaches. Although some African-Americans may use braiding extensions (long term braiding hairstyle) as a form of convenience and/or as a reflection of personal style, it is important not to keep the braids up longer than needed to avoid hair breakage or hair loss. Proper braiding technique and maintenance can result in no hair damage even with repeated braid styles.

I got a real product works very fast do not damage hair and I just love it very good price
best styling product I have ever purchased.
With so many models and styles to choose from, it can be hard to find the right hair straightener for your medium or long hair. That’s why we love the Cloud Nine Original Flat Iron! This straightener is ideal for users with medium to long hair; this hair straightener can tame even the most stubborn tresses. Featuring 1-inch plates and low, medium, and high heat settings, this flat iron is ideal for anyone with thick or lengthy hair.
FHI’s rounded edge allows you to easily curl or add waves without much effort. It’s almost as small as a travel flat iron, and I love that it straightens even the poofiest sections with just a single pass. But don’t just take my word for it, listen to Beyoncé (via InStyle): “I’m crazy about it! I can’t live without my flatiron! It takes me about an hour to do my hair, and the only time I don’t is when I’m on vacation.”
it was real it registered and everything my wife loves it
This ghd is the real deal. It works great on my hair. I also registered my ghd online when I received it to ensure it's the genuine deal and it is. I love it the only thing this product did not come with a carry pouch for the hair iron and there is no temperature control. Other than that it is great
If you have really short hair, you’re better off with a narrow plate, around half an inch in size. If you want to curl your hair, smaller plates are also ideal. For those with longer, thicker tresses, you need wider plates, around 1 1/2 inches, to ensure that you cover more area on each pass. This decreases the amount of passes you need to make, preventing more damage done to your hair.

Negative ions have been a longtime fan favorite in the hair care industry, and it is no surprise that this same technology would appear in our top picks for the best hair straightener. Negative ions have been found to reduce static and frizz while locking in moisture, and the same goes for your hair when you use the CHI Air Expert Classic Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron!
Love love love this styler. I have very fine curly hair that requires washing or wetting every day to get the curls out. Now I can just re straighten it dry when ever I need a quick touch up. Never before had so many compliments.
I was disappointed with these straighteners. They were my first pair of ghds and I was excited as I always had great results when i’d had my hair done at the hair dressers. I’d saved birthday money to buy them.however after just four uses they began to overheat dangerously nearly burning my hand and causing the electric to trip.i have since returned them as they were clearly faulty.however since sending them back I have borrowed my friends and they work fine so maybe I was just unlucky. Still they are not better than the other less expensive brand I had been using for years.i will say this the stylers I received were not the same as the ones in the picture and were vastly different than my friends. Hers are a lot smaller and the plates on the ones I sent back were very gold in colour while hers look like the dark gold in the picture for the product above.looking at the pictures of the different models online they looked more like the old style gold styler so I am not even sure I was sent the original ones. If I order a pair again I will be paying more attention when I open them in the future.
During the 1920s and 1930s, Japanese women began wearing their hair in a style called mimi-kakushi (literally, "ear hiding"), in which hair was pulled back to cover the ears and tied into a bun at the nape of the neck. Waved or curled hair became increasingly popular for Japanese women throughout this period, and permanent waves, though controversial, were extremely popular. Bobbed hair also became more popular for Japanese women, mainly among actresses and moga, or "cut-hair girls," young Japanese women who followed Westernized fashions and lifestyles in the 1920s.[27]

I previously owned a basic chi for about 4 years until it recently stopped working. I bought this one after using a friend's ghd styler and I love it it does a much better job than my chi ever did and my hair stays straight for longer
It contains tri-zone® technology, which works quickly and effectively to straighten, curl and style without compromising the health of your hair. The technology uses three sensors in each plate to ensure the optimum temperature for styling hair is consistently maintained across the entire plate from root to tip, reducing breakage and improving shine.

these are great. They’ve kept my hair straight the whole day. The best straightners i’ve ever had.

Each flat iron has its own 15-digit code on hologram which can be verified at GHD website. - One 1" ghd flat iron with cap. Smoother gold plates glide effortlessly through the hair to make straightening on all hair types and lengths even quicker and easier, while their contoured edges help to create perfect curls and waves, all with a high shine, salon-style finish.
Ordered as replacement for older ghds which had developed an intermittent power problem due no doubt to winding cable around the tongs to keep them closed . Great value and work perfectly. Recommend alternative means of keeping jaws closed in future try the travel pouch
love it
love this straightener. Makes my hair smooth and shinney heats up within 30 seconds and does a quick and beautiful job
True ghd product gets hot as soon as you turn it on. My fianc absolutely loves it. I will definitely continue to use amazon in the future.

This styler really works I can curl or straighten with it and the style holds all day without hairspray.
does exactly what it is supposed to and is a ghd. The registration worked fine although the registration numbers were not on the cord as ghd site suggests. They are actually on the label inside of the iron by the power switch and hard to read. My daughter tried one of these while in the uk and had to have one. Hopefully it lasts as they are spendy. Best price here on amazon.

wife loved it
You need to make sure that your flat iron is very light, feeling comfortable in your hand as you style your hair. You’ll also want it to have a tangle-free cord because that’s just a hassle you don’t want to have when you’re focusing on doing your ‘do right. Or, you can just go for a cordless hair straightener to get rid of that potential problem altogether.
I have been using straighteners for a number of years but not until now have I found the best yet... They are very kind to my hair and make a huge difference... I will always use ghd's from here on in.
I had some concern that this iron was counterfeit. I had purchased knockoff chi irons unbeknownst to me on this site before. Fortunately as I found ghd has a verification tool on their site. Take the time to register your iron there to make sure it's not a fake ... As far as the iron itself it is a sturdy quality iron that heats up lightning fast. It even has a beep to let you know it's ready to go. I especially love the 30 minute automatic shut off feature a must for forgetful people like me
My daughter has long hair and loves the effects of the ghd styler. She even uses it to put waves in her hair.
In a word wow. I didn't think it would but this ghd straightener blew away. I turn it on and in about 5 minuets am ready to start making passes. There is only one heat setting hot and it's perfect. The weight is amazingly light it's thin easy to hold and doesn't fatigue my wrist.i've been using a different pro straightener and was certain nothing could compare. The one I had been using had options lots and lots of options. The ghd offers only one option and that is amazing.the auto shut off is also a very very appreciated feature yes this is not cheap. But the investment is well worth the cost.
amazing styler curls my stubborn hair perfectly

Once you have purchased your new hair straightener and mastered the multitude of ways you can put it to good use, the only thing left to do is take care of it, so it lasts for years to come! Just like any luxury beauty tool, you will want to care for your hair straightener to extend its longevity and prevent corrosion (which can actually leak into your flowing locks…yuck!). Our top tips for caring for and cleaning your new hair straightener include:
I love this hairdryer!! I bought it because I broke my shoulder and only have the use of one arm. Before my shoulder was broken, I used a very expensive hairdryer and the best brushes. This hairdryer works better than all of my high end products. I'll never go back. The brush is big and I was concerned that it would be too much for my short hair. It will work great on any length hair. The bristles grab even the shortest hair and dry it smooth and soft. My hair is naturally curly and before trying this dryer, I'd dry my hair, straighten it and then use hot rollers. I am now achieving the same results with the Revlon dryer. I haven't written a review on a product in years but needed to share my experience with this dryer. ... full review
I am officially in love with this flat iron and I just got it today I have been a chi person my whole life and as many know those die usually within a year. However I just kept purchasing them because as far as I knew they were the best. Now I'm kicking myself for sticking with the chi for so long because this flat iron is a million times better. It straightens my hair so so so well and fast I don't have to go over it a million times. And it cuts down on a lot of frizz. Another thing I love about it is that it heats up so fast it takes about 15 seconds if that to heat up and it's completely ready to go. Usually I'd go outside and within 30 minutes my hair would become wavy due to humidity however that hasn't happened yet. I just came in from being outside for a few hours after straightening my hair with this flat iron. I could say so many things about how great it is. The packaging is adorable the flat iron is just so sleek and professional looking. I love it
“I purchased this flat iron after using it while visiting family. I traveled out of state and, thankfully, left my subpar flat iron at home. So, I asked to borrow one, and this is the one they owned. My hair is naturally curly, thick and long. So, it usually takes FOREVER to straighten all my hair. With this flat iron, I can straighten each section of my hair in ONE pass! The pearl ceramic plates also leave my hair shiny and smooth. It heats ups faster than any flat iron I’ve ever owned (literally in seconds). It doesn’t snag or grab pieces tiny strands of hair like some lower-end irons I’ve used. It is professional quality, no doubt. I immediately went online and purchased one after using it. Two of my friends also purchased this flat iron after using it only one time, it’s that good.”
good price for ghd's so very pleased
Genuine ghds so great quality as expected👍🏻 very happy and great value. Ghd eclipse are a bit better in my opinion but are much more expensive so if you’re on a budget this is an affordable high end product.

I would recommend this product to any lady that regularly straightens her hair. Product gets hot quick and turns off after about 30 minutes of no use. Simply the best straightener I've ever had.

Gisele uses this flatiron. Need we say more? OK, maybe a little bit: From the same hairstylist whose blow-dryer launch nearly broke the Internet, this green-plated flatiron is equally as buzzworthy. It has plates that are larger than most other irons (meaning fewer passes) and rounded edges that prevent snagging or pulling. And because it shuts off automatically after an hour, it's ideal for those of us who constantly forget to unplug our flatiron before running out the door.
However, the search for the best hair straightener for your specific hair type can be daunting. In fact, it’s always difficult when it comes to choosing the right hair tool, whatever that may be. After all, we’re talking about something that could make or break your crowning glory. Well, have no fear on this one. We’ve taken the heat off your hair to find out which of the best hair straighteners work best.
The Glamfields straightener, like most of our top-ranked models, releases negative ions to fight frizz while preventing split ends and knotting. Performance, though, sets it apart from the pack. Hair is straightened beautifully and quickly with the unit’s metal ceramic heater requiring just a 40-second warm-up, eliminating a long wait for the brush to reach temperature. And speaking of temperature, there are 12 heat settings ranging from 250° (ideal for brittle hair) to 450° (hot enough to straighten extremely thick or wavy hair).
Genuine ghds so great quality as expected👍🏻 very happy and great value. Ghd eclipse are a bit better in my opinion but are much more expensive so if you’re on a budget this is an affordable high end product.
Read all the reviews before ordering. My daughter has long curly hair and of coarse wants straight hair so nowshe can have both with minimal fuss and without destroying her beautiful locks. Using it in australia so dual voltage was important.
The Remington Volume & Curl AS7051 comes with two different brush sizes, 50mm and 21mm as well as a 30mm retractable bristle brush so it is suitable for almost all hair types.  It’s a powerful product at 1,000 watts so gets the job done quickly and with minimum fuss.  Programmed with two heat and two speed settings as well as a cool shot it’s a good all over product and proves good value for money.  Out of 137 customer reviews, it has an overall score of 79 5 stars and 28 4 stars.  The only downsides are the on/off switch is not positioned well so often can be switched off during use and it is quite a large product to handle!
Top stuff
If you are looking for faster results, a hair straightening brush is more appropriate – it is a hybrid between a brush and a straightening iron, used best on dried hair and effective even for the most unruly naturally curly hair. You can use the straightening brush on hair that is washed and dried, and obtain the straightening iron results with  much easier and intuitive brushing move.
The V Gold Max Styler from ghd has great 5* reviews on lookfantastic; making it one of our all-time best hair straighteners. The larger plates on the styler make it ideal for thicker and curlier hair which needs extra heat to fully smooth the fibres. The contoured edges and wider plates also help create beautifully loose curls and waves; making it a great multi-tasking styler should you want a product which does more than straighten your hair.

In short YES! You absolutely can use too much heat on your hair. Burning hair is not a good smell, it’s not a good look either! You may end up having to get a pretty severe haircut if you’re not careful about the amount of heat you put directly on your locks. Read through this to get an idea of what’s safe and what will leave you wishing for a good trim (or possibly a wig).
Still going like a champ after 2 years and heavy use by both my wife and daughter
If being limited to only a handful of temperature settings isn’t really your cup of tea, look no further than the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron! This lightweight flat iron features a whopping 50 heat settings for hair types of all shapes, styles, textures, and colors making it one of the most versatile hair straighteners on our list.

if you are really aching to get this please do not go with the free shipping fedex smartpost it took two days for amazon to send out and about ten days in transit.as for the authenticity the ghd I got was one the chosen one . This is my first ghd when first using it my hair was 80 percent dry I know I know it is not good to straighten hair while damp I was so excited I used it right away. When I finished the rest of my head I noticed there wasn't one wet patch of hair on my head and I hadn't burnt myself on my scalp.i've had many high end straighteners very many. Most of them costed as much if not more as this did. However the difference between this one and all the other ones I've had is that I didn't have build up in my hair after straightening. It's like the excess moisture completely evaporates and leaves the natural oil's in my hair. This by far is the best straightener I've ever used.my hair is the softest it has ever been and it feels very natural and flowy.by the way I have thick curly and semi kinky hair. It took me 30 minutes to straighten my whole head of head the first time I used this.
I love it I have never straightened my hair more and loved it it also heats up really fast and smooths your hair like nobodys business
Ask any seasoned hair stylist for a flat iron recommendation, and you will hear the same brand time and time again: CHI. Known the world over as a leader in hair care and styling, CHI is your go-to name for salon results at home. While CHI offers a variety of designs (and fun colors!) to choose from, the brand’s G2 Ceramic and Titanium model is what caught our eye when researching the best hair straightener. This hair straightener is packed with high-tech features and an upgraded, ergonomic design for the shiniest and straightest ‘do you’ve ever seen!

The Revlon Perfect Heat works best on partially dry hair. Hot air blows from inside the brush while the soft bristles spin to take the curl out of your hair. Alternatively, you can leave the ends of your hair curly while straightening the rest. You can also turn off the spin function if desired. The added benefit of a unit that has hot air blown from the inside is that you don’t have to wait for the straightener to heat up.

I love this machine and ordering from this company was easy it arrived promptly very happy camper

I am a big fan of the ghd irons. I will not buy anything else. I have been a cosmetologist for 7 years and have had my first one since I started working and bought my second one for home 5 years ago. I highly recommend any style of ghd for any type of hair I've never ever had any problem with with either of my irons and use it throughout the day 4 days a week at work. To guarantee a real iron ask your stylist if they're able to get you an iron from their beauty supply distributer.
My ghds finally broke after over 10 years so bought a new set still as good as they always have been

repeat purchase. First one died after 5 years. Hopefully this will last that long.

great set of 'original' ghd's... Had similar back in the 90's and I loved them then. I had them for years before they gave up then I tried various other cheaper makes of straightners as well as some of the limited edition ghd's ...none as good as my original ghd's. Noticed these at a good price and bought them in time for the christmas festivities I have no regrets love them
I previously purchased this item from a salon for 2x the price and loved it before it finally died 2 years later. Purchased from this seller and was a bit concerned from previous reviews about it being fake . As far as I can tell it is authentic was able to register the product with serial number on ghd website works wonderfully and I am very happy with my purchase.
Once again, the key to this brush’s performance is a big comb which grabs large volumes of hair, with a curved base that funnels hair right to the comb. It also delivers heat via metal ceramic (MCH) technology; the combination guarantees very fast hair straightening, as it does with Groom+Style’s #1 straightening brush. Heat-up time for the AsaVea is about 60 seconds, slightly longer than it is with the Glamfields but not bad at all.

Great quality. I've had this for years now. I'm a black female with 3b hair. This styler is amazing. Sedu and ghd have never let me down.
Think of this as an updated version of your regular hairbrush. Its double negative ion technology gives your hair that glass-like shine without any static whatsoever. Its ceramic bristles with nylon cool-tips help keep damage to a minimum by releasing far-infrared heat — in a mere moment, it penetrates the outer layer of the hair cuticle and heats it from the inside out.
love love love I owned a sedu for several years but when the cord shorted out I thought I would replace with another sedu. The reviews noted the same problem I had so I decided to go with another brand. I did a lot of research and read a ton of consumer reviews. I finally settled on this ghd flat iron. The price was great great reviews and as someone who is known to leave my flat iron on all day I loved the automatic shut off function very pleased with this it heats up within 10 seconds and straightens beautifully I got several compliments on how straight and shiny my hair was after using it great product very pleased
I was a little weary about buying this because of all the bad reviews about it being counterfeit. I also know that a lot of people have posted about this already but I received my product and was able to register it on ghd website and that it is real.awesome deal highly recommended
BEWARE of sellers with LOW FEEDBACK! Ask sellers questions about the 22 things I have pointed out above. If they do not answer, don't buy! If they make excuses, don't buy! Also, some buyers who have been ripped off are trying to resell their GHD's to cut their losses. Watch for things like "I got it as a gift" or "I recently cut my hair". One of the seller's I purchased from was supposed to be shipping out of Georgia but he really shipped from China. Don't believe everything you read about a seller's information. They can lie.

I love it 👍
Consider this the perfect flat iron for full hair. "It is great for thicker textures because it distributes heat evenly, allowing for less passes through the hair," explains stylist Lacy Redway. The plates "make it easier to straighten or curl longer hair lengths." Redway was responsible for  Tessa Thompson’s sleek ‘do on her past ELLE cover, so you know it’s top-notch.
I was disappointed with these straighteners. They were my first pair of ghds and I was excited as I always had great results when i’d had my hair done at the hair dressers.
The two strips of silicone atop Bio Ionic’s flat iron plates seem silly, but they serve an important purpose. By buffering the outer edge of the plates, they reduce your chances of hair snags. They also force you to glide the flat iron more slowly through your hair (they are called speed strips, after all). While the slower technique maximizes shininess and smoothness, the speed strips can become a bit of an obstacle if your hair is thick.
This set contains a ghd gold styler a heatproof plate guard a heat resistant mat a zip bag that contains a paddle brush and two large hair clips the zip bag press studs onto the mat and the whole lot rolls together for storage . This comes in a gorgeous gift presentation box that has a hidden magnetic fastening you may want to keep this to store it in as everything fits so nicely. Anyone who received this as a present should really appreciate it.the included instructions are brief and whilst they tell you how to turn the styler on and off and cover health and safety information they do not tell you how to get the best out of the styler or how to actually use it on your hair. The assumption seems to be you already know how to straighten your hair because you already have a ghd styler or you've used another brand before. I think this is a shame and seems a bit of an oversight as this gift set could be someone's first styler. I've had cheaper straighteners in the past which had quite a detailed page on how to get the best out of the straighteners . Yes you can find this information on the internet and on youtube but sometimes it's just nice to have it there to read when you open the box.having said that they do reach temperature quickly and straighten well you can tell why it's the brand leader. My previous straighteners you could alter the temperature but I'm quite happy with how these work at a set temperature and it's one less thing to faff around with. It has a 30 minute safety cut off for me this time could be shorter but at least it does have a cut off. I love that it comes with both a heat proof mat so many products just don't seem to and the heat proof plate guard as well.overall a gorgeous hair straightening gift set that anyone not already owning a ghd styler would love to have provided they do want to straighten their hair.

Fine or thinning hair can easily become damaged under too much heat, so cooler temperatures (i.e., those under 300° F) are ideal for these hair types. If you have very curly, course, or thick hair, then higher temperatures upwards of 400° F may be more suitable to your needs. With the ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron, you can cool it down to 265° F if need be and also crank it up to a whopping 450° F for textured styled.
