The Karmin G3 Salon Professional Ceramic Flat Iron is one of our picks because not only does it perform great, it has a 3-year warranty that backs it up; not something you see with every flat iron in the market. This hair straightener features 1-inch pure tourmaline ceramic plates that can heat up in less than 30 seconds. It has a tangle-free swivel cord and is dual voltage. And it makes use of micro-porous technology and infrared heat to lock in the moisture and natural oils of your hair so it looks healthy, silky, shiny, and straight.
I have owned a ghd flat iron for about 3years. My daughter borrowed it on a daily basis. Decided to get her one of her own for christmas. I highly recommend the ghd.

Straighten, wave, or curl all hair types with less breakage, more color integrity, and more shine. Ghd’s breakthrough, innovative styler in white delivers maximum impact with minimum damage thanks to patented tri-zone technology. Six intelligent sensors guarantee the optimum styling temperature of 365°F across the plates for healthy-looking hair. It maintains heat evenly from root to tip, locking in moisture for lustrous, long-lasting results. Precision-milled, floating one-inch plates with a high-gloss finish glide effortlessly through hair for rapid styling and radiant shine. The ergonomically upgraded, rounded edges let you straighten, curl, or wave in a stroke—with one-pass styling and a 20-second heat-up time that allows you to finish faster. For ultimate control, a unique wishbone hinge calibrates pressure so plates caress hair lightly instead of tightly. The ultra-versatile tool creates an array of head-turning styles without turning up the heat.
Thick, coarse hair can withstand high heat AND it responds better to it. Using high heat also means that you minimize the number of passes you’ll make which will benefit your hair’s health. You’ll want a hair straightener that has adjustable heat settings with a maximum temperature reaching the 400-degree range like the HAI Beauty Concepts 1.25″ Classic Convertable Flat Iron.
excellent product best on the market
I bought a ghd in london while traveling. I couldn't love a hair straightener more. It heats up so quickly and is universal voltage so you can use it anywhere in the world. I've had mine for over a year and use it almost every day. Don't mind the price it is worth it

Late 17th-century wigs were very long and wavy (see George I below), but became shorter in the mid-18th century, by which time they were normally white (George II). A very common style had a single stiff curl running round the head at the end of the hair. By the late 18th century the natural hair was often powdered to achieve the impression of a short wig, tied into a small tail or "queue" behind (George III).

this is my third ghd flat iron. The best have them all over. Home vacation home boat.used for many years.
Apart from getting and paying for an extra ghd the product arrived successfully and was well received.
...it works as promised my wife said she leaves the iron unplugged most of the time. It cools down and shuts down by itself.the item I got is original with circuit breaker on the plug.watch out for the fake ones. Fake ones usually just come with regular ac plug. Make sure to look for the safety circuit breaker plug.
very good hair straightener.
Has the perfect heat so that it doesn't get my hair. I've used a chi for years but this is by far better. No breakage and not as many fly aways and I have very frizzy damaged hair.
The Revlon Perfect Heat works best on partially dry hair. Hot air blows from inside the brush while the soft bristles spin to take the curl out of your hair. Alternatively, you can leave the ends of your hair curly while straightening the rest. You can also turn off the spin function if desired. The added benefit of a unit that has hot air blown from the inside is that you don’t have to wait for the straightener to heat up.
I will start by admitting that I really don't do much with my hair. It's naturally curly and I never even blow dry it. I gave my last flatiron to my daughter when she went away to college.but after using the ghd styler I think the reason I never did much with my hair is because I was always using substandard products. This styler doesn't pull my hair. It runs through smoothly. It takes at most two passes to straighten my hair. It heats up really quickly. I love the fact that the cord is super long and swivels. It doesn't leave my hair looking frizzy. It even helps to straighten out my cowlick at my hairline. It curls easily as well but I mostly just used it for straightening .it has an on off switch and a led light to indicate when it's ready to use which is about 30 seconds it's super fast . It's also dual voltage which is fantastic when I travel you just need to provide a plug adapter for the outlet .it's pricey but definitely worth the money. If you are in need of a styler to use every day invest in this one
Most straighteners will have either ceramic or tourmaline plates, although a few use titanium. Ceramic is the best choice for delicate, fine or color-treated hair because it heats evenly and a bit more slowly than tourmaline or titanium with no hot spots. Tourmaline and titanium, by contrast, heat up extremely quickly and can easily damage thin or sensitive hair before you’re even aware that it’s happened. For thick hair, though, tourmaline or titanium are the way to go; tourmaline has the added benefit of producing 20x more negative ions, making hair moist and silky and reducing frizz.
During the First World War, women around the world started to shift to shorter hairstyles that were easier to manage. In the 1920s women started for the first time to bob, shingle and crop their hair, often covering it with small head-hugging cloche hats. In Korea, the bob was called tanbal.[28] Women began marcelling their hair, creating deep waves in it using heated scissor irons. Durable permanent waving became popular also in this period:[29] it was an expensive, uncomfortable and time-consuming process, in which the hair was put in curlers and inserted into a steam or dry heat machine. During the 1930s women began to wear their hair slightly longer, in pageboys, bobs or waves and curls.[13]
I was able to register my straightener online at ghd...i hope my sister likes this just as much as I do.
Titanium irons are more powerful. They heat up much faster and have a higher ionic distribute, and they work great on really thick, curly or stubborn locks. For instance, popular BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium-Plated Ultra-Thin Straightening Iron is made using titanium. And if your locks are pretty easy to straighten, you probably don’t need such a powerful tool.
I got a real product works very fast do not damage hair and I just love it very good price

I was stung once buying some fake ghds online but these are the real deal. They are perfect. I ve been using them for years and my last pair gave up after five years of daily use.
Fine or thinning hair can easily become damaged under too much heat, so cooler temperatures (i.e., those under 300° F) are ideal for these hair types. If you have very curly, course, or thick hair, then higher temperatures upwards of 400° F may be more suitable to your needs. With the ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron, you can cool it down to 265° F if need be and also crank it up to a whopping 450° F for textured styled.
This set contains a ghd gold styler a heatproof plate guard a heat resistant mat a zip bag that contains a paddle brush and two large hair clips the zip bag press studs onto the mat and the whole lot rolls together for storage . This comes in a gorgeous gift presentation box that has a hidden magnetic fastening you may want to keep this to store it in as everything fits so nicely. Anyone who received this as a present should really appreciate it.the included instructions are brief and whilst they tell you how to turn the styler on and off and cover health and safety information they do not tell you how to get the best out of the styler or how to actually use it on your hair. The assumption seems to be you already know how to straighten your hair because you already have a ghd styler or you've used another brand before. I think this is a shame and seems a bit of an oversight as this gift set could be someone's first styler. I've had cheaper straighteners in the past which had quite a detailed page on how to get the best out of the straighteners . Yes you can find this information on the internet and on youtube but sometimes it's just nice to have it there to read when you open the box.having said that they do reach temperature quickly and straighten well you can tell why it's the brand leader. My previous straighteners you could alter the temperature but I'm quite happy with how these work at a set temperature and it's one less thing to faff around with. It has a 30 minute safety cut off for me this time could be shorter but at least it does have a cut off. I love that it comes with both a heat proof mat so many products just don't seem to and the heat proof plate guard as well.overall a gorgeous hair straightening gift set that anyone not already owning a ghd styler would love to have provided they do want to straighten their hair.
I have very curly hair and used my friends styler and fell in love I bought this on amazon after reading the bad reviews. Beautifully packed in a very nicebox very easy to register b. So it’s not fake

I absolutely love this thing best purchase ever I have dark annoying thick hair I'm asian and so a lion's mane look after hair drying isn't the best after using this ghd I would never turn back to a normal straightener I bought this in feb 2011 and after a year or so bad luck for me the ghd stopped working but without any hassle I sent it back to the manufacturers and they send me out a new one hassle free the 2nd one has had no problems think it may have been a product issue.i highly recommend this

Another excellent budget hot air styler is the Remington Style and Curl Air Styler and with 9 customer reviews giving 4.7 out of 5 stars I would recommend this product.  This is a great on the go styler because it is lightweight so easy to pack away.  It has two attachments so is suitable for medium length and shorter hair (25mm brush and 19mm brush) and has two heat and speed settings so you can set your curls and fast dry hair prior to styling.  The Remington Style and Curl is good for flicks, curls and adding volume, giving a glossy, lustrous finish.  Reviewers like the fact that it can be used on damp as well as dry hair and all say that it works a dream.
works like a charm
From the 16th to the 19th century, European women's hair became more visible while their hair coverings grew smaller, with both becoming more elaborate, and with hairstyles beginning to include ornamentation such as flowers, ostrich plumes, ropes of pearls, jewels, ribbons and small crafted objects such as replicas of ships and windmills.[14][21] Bound hair was felt to be symbolic of propriety: loosening one's hair was considered immodest and sexual, and sometimes was felt to have supernatural connotations.[22] Red hair was popular, particularly in England during the reign of the red-haired Elizabeth I, and women and aristocratic men used borax, saltpeter, saffron and sulfur powder to dye their hair red, making themselves nauseated and giving themselves headaches and nosebleeds.[12][23] During this period in Spain and Latin cultures, women wore lace mantillas, often worn over a high comb,[14][24] and in Buenos Aires, there developed a fashion for extremely large tortoise-shell hair combs called peinetón, which could measure up to three feet in height and width, and which are said by historians to have reflected the growing influence of France, rather than Spain, upon Argentinians.[25]
you me the nicest greeting and thank you for your dealings upscalei will deal with you thanksi will deal with you
From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]
I can't believe Amazon would allow one of their trusted sellers to sell fakes. I received mine today and it took about 5 seconds to realize that it was fake. I could not register it on the ghd website, and I came across the information below to help identify fakes. This straightener did not have a reset button on the plug, and had many more of the 'give-aways' that it was a fake! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

bought this for my daughter as a christmas present. She loves it
Being a bald old feller its reasonably obvious that I ordered these for my wife who over the years has become something of an expert on hair styling equipment and has been the guinea pig for this product so her thoughts on this styler....her immediate reaction was ghd they are the best make ever secondly it is a lovely looking styler and is beautifully boxed with a heat resistant protective plate guard for the blade ends and a heat resistant travel bag.my wife was truly amazed at the short heat up time the advertising says 25 seconds she says that it is almost immediate in use there are no problems though she did say that perhaps the plates could be larger otherwise no issues.so to the real nitty gritty....my question was... Would you buy this styler her reply.. No its far too expensive and even though it heats up really quickly basically its no better than cheaper stylers

I was not expecting this kind of straightener from ghd. Complete waste of money. Cheap quality straightener.
the best straightener .. She wouldn't go without it.....its a must have in this house and friends have agreed and bought

My second one I bought. It does a great job and does not dry your hair out. My hair always looks healthy
Curling straight hair is relatively easy; perms and curling irons have been around for several years. Those with wavy hair that doesn’t relax even after blow drying, endure more tortuous methods to change the look of their locks. Hair relaxer (straightener) products and hair dryers released over the years have often been hit or miss with many users.
The titanium plates in the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron were designed to conduct high levels of heat (again, up to 450° F!) in a short amount of time. Coupled with the Nanotechnology that is packed in each plate, this hair straightener is ideal for anyone that experiences unwanted frizz or static on a regular basis! The titanium also acts as a barrier from corrosion keeping your hair straightener and precious strands free of build-up for years to come!
With this CHI original flat iron, you can get not only straight silky hair but also all kinds of curls, flips, and waves. It features 1-inch wide floating ceramic plates and uses far infrared technology to reduce frizz and static electricity. This straightener heats up to 392°F, and you can’t adjust the temperature. So, this is a flat iron for normal or thick hair, not for fine and fragile one. The heat is evenly distributed, and an exceptionally high amount of negative ions are produced. Finally, the design is basic, yet neat and ergonomic.
this is the best iron money can buy. It is expensive but its worth it if you can save and buy it.
Features like this prove that hair straighteners really have come a long way over the last decade, and the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener certainly doesn’t disappoint in this regard! When the terror of hair damage is removed from everyday straightening, there’s no limit to the styles you can create with a hair straightener like this making this an ideal choice for novice and expert stylists alike!
If you are looking for faster results, a hair straightening brush is more appropriate – it is a hybrid between a brush and a straightening iron, used best on dried hair and effective even for the most unruly naturally curly hair. You can use the straightening brush on hair that is washed and dried, and obtain the straightening iron results with  much easier and intuitive brushing move.
Heats up quickly and works great at straightening my hair.

If you are unsure what exactly your hair type is (or if it has changed over the years, which happens more often than you’d think!), check out this incredible overview by the hair professionals at Redken! Don’t stress if you have combination hair (i.e., fine and curly or thin and straight) either; we recommend choosing a hair straightener based on your biggest hair complaint and focusing on that problem first. So, if your curls are driving your nuts, you will want to select a hair straightener with higher temperatures, thin hair needs moisture, etc. You’ll find that your entire hair type can usually benefit from the extra TLC!

great quality fast shipping

I have owned a ghd flat iron for about 3years. My daughter borrowed it on a daily basis. Decided to get her one of her own for christmas. I highly recommend the ghd.

Straighteners work because they have flat plates that get hot and touch together on either side of your hair. By doing that, they put heat through your hair follicles, trap in moisture and take out frizz. The plates on a flat iron can be made of several different materials, and they’re good for different uses. The best iron for you varies depending on the type of hair you have, the type of styling you want to do, and the amount of heat your hair needs.
While the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron is a great option for a beginner or someone on the go, we like to think of the Solano Sleek Heat 450 Professional Flat Iron as the no-nonsense, professional-grade alternative for anyone with short or medium length hair. This Solano professional hair straightener isn’t just for stylists or beauty bloggers though: the fast heat time and maximum heat temperatures make it an ideal choice for any aspiring stylist-to-be or anyone with stubborn shorter styles.
Used backstage at Miss Universe, this styling iron comes with plenty of smart features. It has an extended plate length of four inches, perfect for those with longer hair. Plus, these plates include layered silicone underneath, providing shock absorption for added durability. The touchscreen control allows for easy temperature changes, and it automatically locks while you're styling, so there’s no such thing as hitting a wrong button.
My sister owned one of these and I tried hers out when she visited. It put my flatiron to shame and was worth every penny. It smooths the hair far and easily and heats up quickly. I've owned one for about a year now and am very satisfied with its performance.

I got these after using my sister in law's ghds and realising that my 11 year old babyliss ones were sadly inferior. I love that they heat up really quickly as when you have 3 small boys to get to school pre school every second counts. The results last overnight too with maybe a quick spruce up the following morning. All in all worth every penny
