I was worried that the flat iron was a fake so I was really relieved when I was able to register the product on ghd's website. After years of using a cheap flat iron that I bought at cvs I decided that I would invest in a good flat iron. After turning on the flat iron you will hear a beep. You'll hear 2 beeps in about 10 seconds which indicates that the flat iron is ready to use. It warms up so quickly. It makes my hair so shiny and straight. I love it.
Ghd it's just the right size and feel and it can get at even the small hairs.arrived on time. No problems till date.
Hair breakage is an all too common problem, and even the most seasoned of hair stylists can slip up from time to time. That’s why LumaBella’s Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener features a unique smart heat sensor. This nifty little gadget can actually tell when there is too much heat for your hair, and will automatically adjust to a safer styling temperature!
I borrowed this straightener from my friend when we were in vegas and I fell in love with it. I love the fact that it heats up almost instantly and is very lightweight. It made my hair silky and smooth. I had to get the straightener for myself and purchased it at a beauty supply store. This straightenr is well worth the investment. I replaced my old herstyler with my new ghd and I'm never going back
* * * Update: After returning the above-described item, I bought a ghd Classic Styler in-person from one of their authorized salon dealers (info at ghd's site). When I went to register the hologram and date codes, the ghd site accepted them on the first try. Also, the second unit I bought HAD country-of-manufacture information on the box and on the date sticker (made in China, which some other comments said isn't legit, that seems to be wrong). My unit labeled made-in-China is the one that registered successfully with ghd. Also my second purchase - from the authorized dealer - had a lot of information printed on the bottom of the box, including a bar code, web info, consumer information phone number, design info and information about the product. The unit I purchased from Amazon had NO printing on the bottom of the otherwise authentic-looking box. Draw your own conclusions. Bottom-line: if you buy a ghd styler here, double and triple-check that your unit is for real.
I had the hsi professional which I thought was pretty good but this ghd flat iron definitely beats it in all aspect which it better be since the price is 3x as much . First I like it that it beeps to let you know that it's ready to be used after plugged in. Second it's very light so for a person with thick hair like me usually takes forever to smooth out all my hair it's less tiring. Last but not least it straightens just in 1 2 strokes and it lasts it cuts down my hair prep time by half if not more. Save up a little longer and get this instead of hsi which is also less compact

Most straighteners will have either ceramic or tourmaline plates, although a few use titanium. Ceramic is the best choice for delicate, fine or color-treated hair because it heats evenly and a bit more slowly than tourmaline or titanium with no hot spots. Tourmaline and titanium, by contrast, heat up extremely quickly and can easily damage thin or sensitive hair before you’re even aware that it’s happened. For thick hair, though, tourmaline or titanium are the way to go; tourmaline has the added benefit of producing 20x more negative ions, making hair moist and silky and reducing frizz.
I bought this knowing that it had great reviews and hoping that I wouldn't receive a fake like some others had reported in their reviews. I was fortunate enough to receive the real ghd classic styler successfully registered it on the ghd website and have loved it every single time I used it.i am half puerto rican with very naturally curly hair and this works wonders. It offers a all day straightening power and works wonderfully when I use it to curl the ends of my hair also.if you can take the risk of possibly getting a fake I highly recommend this product. Well worth every penny.
My hair stylist recommended this brand. It heats up quickly and has all the safety features. Love it
I love it I have never straightened my hair more and loved it it also heats up really fast and smooths your hair like nobodys business

these work very well as do all ghd straighteners. I have used ghds for years and once I discovered them I never looked back. I can straighten my hair in half the time compared to other similar products and my hair feels better and less damaged afterwards too. I have also received fantastic after sales service from ghd before as well so I trust the brand. These are no different they are well made and the design looks classy while they straighteners themselves do a good job and didn't leave my hair feeling frazzled and fried. The kit itself is decent in the box there were the straighteners of course a heat mat a bag to keep the straighteners in a protective 'end' to put over the hot parts of the straighteners two professional hair clips to hold your hair back while straightening and a paddle brush. These seem to all fit in the bag so it is very useful if you are travelling or even just storing it between uses. The cable is long enough to make using them a doddle and the auto switch off will help ease your mind if you are on your way to work and wondering if you have turned them off despite all this I have knocked a star off purely because they don't work as well as my ghd pinks these leave my hair feeling smooth and silky and the gold set just doesn't seem to do this quite as well. Nevertheless I would still buy them over any other brand out there.

This is my second iron with the first one lasting more than 5 years. I specially chose this brand because of the plug circuit breaker since the model I had before this one burned my bangs. I've never had a problem with this model and absolutely feel the price is equivalent to it's quality. Also if you take care of your iron your iron will not disappoint you.
I love ghd products. This is the only flat iron I will use on my hair. My last ghd lasted me 6 years. It still works ok because the every day abuse I gave it and I keep it as a back up .worth the money.

You cannot fault quality and excellence both things we have come to expect from ghd. Some brands are hyped for no reason but ghd is a case of 'you get what you pay for' and what you get in this instance is very good indeed. The perfect christmas gift for the wife mum partner daughter in your life. You can rely on this brand I assure you.
Look no further your favorite hair appliance has arrived ghd flat iron no need to adjust for temperture the iron will take care of everything. Make hair super straight and shiny heats up in 30 seconds must buy no need to go over the same piece of hair over and over again. You can straighten hair in 5 minutes

One of the best investments you’ll ever make for your hair is buying a flat iron or hair straightener. It’s one of the most versatile hair tools you’ll ever use. It can help you create curls (kinky or beach-blown waves), flirty flips, or super straight hair. Even the most coarse, unruly hair will bow down to the will of a good flat iron. But like most tools, you need to invest in the best. And what’s best for others does not make it best for you. The wrong choice can cause damage to your hair. So before you head out to buy the first hair straightener you see, let’s talk specifics.
I just retired my 6 year old chi and initially got a chi replacement but it just did not feel like my old chi. I knew then that I had to look for that perfect flat iron that I've been used to. Well I found it with this ghd classic styler. It heats up fast and takes just one quick swipe to straighten my curly hair. It is an amazing iron without any unnecessary frills. Flat iron does damage the hair so keeping it to a minimum is the best thing to do and don't think that paying extra for temp. Adjustment and other frills will somehow be less damaging. Stick to this basic one and you will be so happy also I did buy this iron from amazon itself and was able to register it without any problems.

Ghd hair products are expensive. You can buy much cheaper dryers and stylers. That said you will find that your ghd outlasts pretty much every other brand out there. And that’s ultimately what you are paying for.the build quality speaks for itself. You can feel it in the weight and quality of finish.in operation they simply work. The hairdryer is quiet and efficient. It has all the features you expect to find. The stylers straighten hair quickly and with a super smooth finish.the overall ‘wow’ factor is enhanced by the go d boxing that this set comes in.if it’s for yourself well done if it’s for a gift you are a very generous friend

In ancient civilizations, women's hair was often elaborately and carefully dressed in special ways. Women coloured their hair, curled it, and pinned it up (ponytail) in a variety of ways. They set their hair in waves and curls using wet clay, which they dried in the sun and then combed out, or else by using a jelly made of quince seeds soaked in water, or curling tongs and curling irons of various kinds.[10][11]

Okay so to begin I wanted a ghd being the top of the line hair straightener in competition with the sudo but I didnt want to pay the 200 price tag so amazon was my best choice.i want to say my previous hair straightener was a solia which is also one of the top hair straightener and I purchased it straight from folica.comcompared to the solia the ghd defiantly beats it and I'm very happy I purchased it.a lot of complaints for the ghd was that people kept getting fake non legit ones I am happy to say I received a legit ghd and you can too.the best way to know if it is legit whether it comes from amazon or not is to check the sellers reviews always do so . I usually buy from those who have usually more then 1000 reviews and score at least a 97 . That is how you know whether you are getting the real deal.second when you receive it to test its authenticity sign up for its warranty from the little paper they give you included. If it has the shiny sticker inside the clasps of the straightener it is most likely the real deal but to make sure you should sign up for again its warranty. If it goes through congrats you have a real ghd this is how you can tell if your ghd is a fake fake fake if it is made in china it is manufactured in p.r.c. Or south korea if the warranty does not work if you do not have the shiny sticker in italso be cautious when buying from a third party seller.also the warranty will most likely be voided if you buy from amazon but you should still sign up for it to check for its authenticity.hope this helped guys
From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]
love it heats up quickly and smooths my frizzy parts great

Some people may cover their hair totally or partially for cultural or religious reasons. Notable examples of head covering include women in Islam who wear the hijab, married women in Haredi Judaism who wear the sheitel, married Himba men who cover their hair except when in mourning, Tuareg men who wear a veil, and baptized men and women in Sikhism who wear the dastar.[3][4][5][6][7]
I love this machine and ordering from this company was easy it arrived promptly very happy camper
I love this product. I got it on Sunday and the same day I used it. I don't usually blow dry my hair because it takes me too long. I just let it air dry, but this Hair Drier is amazing. It took me less than 20 minutes to dry my entire hair. It's very practical, you can take it with you anywhere, I will be traveling and will take it with me. I will be using this every time after I wash my hair. I will not be using regular hair driers again. Truly recommended.
“I purchased this flat iron after using it while visiting family. I traveled out of state and, thankfully, left my subpar flat iron at home. So, I asked to borrow one, and this is the one they owned. My hair is naturally curly, thick and long. So, it usually takes FOREVER to straighten all my hair. With this flat iron, I can straighten each section of my hair in ONE pass! The pearl ceramic plates also leave my hair shiny and smooth. It heats ups faster than any flat iron I’ve ever owned (literally in seconds). It doesn’t snag or grab pieces tiny strands of hair like some lower-end irons I’ve used. It is professional quality, no doubt. I immediately went online and purchased one after using it. Two of my friends also purchased this flat iron after using it only one time, it’s that good.”
just received these as my first ghds and I'm amazed just how fantastic they are. They've straightened my shoulder length hair so quickly and better than any others I have tried. If you're thinking about getting these do it you won't regret it.
I absolutely love this flat iron I have straight hair always have but this gives me no frizz flat hair. And when I want curls well there you go I have them I researched for a flat iron since I bought one like 5yrs ago and it did nothing for my hair and pulled it too. This one is 100 authentic and I registered it online with ghd also. I'm soo happy my husband got my this well worth the wait also this was bought through amazon if you'd like to know happy styling
You should definitely take into account flat irons reviews, let along the price of the hair straightening iron. Most of the models in my list are pretty affordable, yet effective and of high quality. Just be aware of the fakes and be sure that you can trust the seller. And I hope hair straightener reviews will help you avoid purchasing a fake and choose the perfect styling tool.
Wonderful product I just love it take it from me you must spend the extra money and buy the more expensive professional version of this product. It makes a huge difference great seller product came one day sooner than expected.
the shipping is stupid. It took forever but my ghd is great and just as described. Registration was easy.
Sure, the drugstore flat iron you used on its highest setting back in the day was clunky and had a tendency to fry your hair if you glanced away for more than a second, and okay fine, your mom probably told you that you looked a little “emo” from time to time. Luckily, those days are long gone and hair straighteners have truly come a long way since the days of The Jersey Shore.
The Apalus works relatively quickly, taking approximately ten seconds per pass to straighten most types of hair, although you will have to straighten small sections at a time. That makes it an inexpensive lifesaver if you need a quick straightening before heading off to work. The Apalus hair straightener can also be used as a detangling brush and massager to straighten frizzy or unmanageable hair, if used in conjunction with Agam essential oil or Moroccan oil.
A hairstyle, hairdo, or haircut refers to the styling of hair, usually on the human scalp. Sometimes, this could also mean an editing of facial or body hair. The fashioning of hair can be considered an aspect of personal grooming, fashion, and cosmetics, although practical, cultural, and popular considerations also influence some hairstyles.[1] The oldest known depiction of hair braiding dates back about 30,000 years. In ancient civilizations, women's hair was often elaborately and carefully dressed in special ways. In Imperial Rome, women wore their hair in complicated styles. From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. During the Roman Empire as well as in the 16th century in the western world, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive. During the 15th and 16th centuries, European men wore their hair cropped no longer than shoulder-length. In the early 17th century male hairstyles grew longer, with waves or curls being considered desirable.
