Being a bald old feller its reasonably obvious that I ordered these for my wife who over the years has become something of an expert on hair styling equipment and has been the guinea pig for this product so her thoughts on this styler....her immediate reaction was ghd they are the best make ever secondly it is a lovely looking styler and is beautifully boxed with a heat resistant protective plate guard for the blade ends and a heat resistant travel bag.my wife was truly amazed at the short heat up time the advertising says 25 seconds she says that it is almost immediate in use there are no problems though she did say that perhaps the plates could be larger otherwise no issues.so to the real nitty gritty....my question was... Would you buy this styler her reply.. No its far too expensive and even though it heats up really quickly basically its no better than cheaper stylers
I previously owned a basic chi for about 4 years until it recently stopped working. I bought this one after using a friend's ghd styler and I love it it does a much better job than my chi ever did and my hair stays straight for longer
ordered straight from amazon. Was able to register on ghd site love this straightner had a chi before but it broke after 5 years of having it and someone told me to try this and im glad I did
The best flat iron there is.. Doesn't damage your hair as much because you only need to pass it once or twice through your hair... I bought this years ago and still works..
If you have long hair or thick hair and want plenty of voluminous curls I would suggest checking out the Tresemme 2776U Salon Professional Volume Styler. With a grand total of 402 customer reviews this one scored 4.1 out of 5 stars overall. The Tresemme 2776U works just as well on short and fine hair (just use the heat setting on one). Additionally, it is lightweight so makes a good travel companion. Easy to use and works well getting to the back of the head – as an example, one review states that chin length hair thick and wavy hair can be dry in around 10 minutes with plenty of volume and shine.
This hair straightener works wonderfully. Even when my friends use my straightener they always compliment how smoothly it works. I love that it turns off by itself because I have had times where I have left it on. I also use this straightener to curl my hair and I get compliments on how that looks as well. Ghd is best way to go with hair straighteners in my opinion.
Perukes or periwigs for men were introduced into the English-speaking world with other French styles when Charles II was restored to the throne in 1660, following a lengthy exile in France. These wigs were shoulder-length or longer, imitating the long hair that had become fashionable among men since the 1620s. Their use soon became popular in the English court. The London diarist Samuel Pepys recorded the day in 1665 that a barber had shaved his head and that he tried on his new periwig for the first time, but in a year of plague he was uneasy about wearing it:
I have gone through so many hair straighteners that only last a few months I have owned this brand for almost three years. The only reason I had to replace it was because my puppy chewed through the cord. This straighter will last forever and works so great to either straighten or curl your hair. Has an automatic shut off so you can't leave it on and heats up in about 30 seconds. I will never buy another brand
It stops working about a year and a half into use.turns on and off intermittently which really sucks. Went with a chi instead which doesn't work as well but lasts forever.
very nice and does not burn my hair like prev flat iron

Fast shipping. Had the chi for years and now I wouldn't go back.product works wonders would highly recommend over the chi
love love love this flat iron. I have gone through two quality flat irons in the past few years. Both had wiring issues. I did the research and was looking for a great deal on a high quality product. I totally got it with this product. I was worried with some of the reviews that it wouldn't be a ghd product but before I even used it I made sure I could register it... And I was able to. Does a fabulous job straightening my hair... Love that it takes only a few seconds to heat up. And puts itself to sleep if its unused for 30 min. That was my biggest complaint about my previous solia
I have curly hair and so it always took me much longer to straighten my hair. I saw my sister had this straightner and so I tried using hers and it took me about 10 min to get my hair totally straight anyways my other straightner had broke so I bought this one and it's really really good. Would very much recommend
Generally, flat irons aren’t very good at straightening really short hair. But if you do want to give it a try, pick from the models with as narrow plates as possible. I guess, the common width of the flat iron plates is 1 inch but there may be even narrower models on the market. And for straightening short hair, choose from the models with a slim and rectangular-shaped design. This will help you to get to the roots.
If you’re a hair straightening novice, you may be a little intimidated during the first few times you use your new flat iron. These feelings are totally normal (after all, you are putting 300+ degrees of heat right near your scalp!), but there is no need to worry. All you have to do is follow these simple steps and you will have the gorgeous, flowing hair you’ve always dreamt of in no time!
Original ghd stylers registered them on the official website to make sure they were ghd would definitely recommend this product don't be deceived by the price they are definitely original
In short YES! You absolutely can use too much heat on your hair. Burning hair is not a good smell, it’s not a good look either! You may end up having to get a pretty severe haircut if you’re not careful about the amount of heat you put directly on your locks. Read through this to get an idea of what’s safe and what will leave you wishing for a good trim (or possibly a wig).
after reading previous reviews about this possibly being a fake I was a little worried. I waited until the priced dropped and bit the bullet. I was able to register it on the ghd website and I am happy to report it is not a fake so far it heats up really quick and straightens in one stroke I am really glad I bought it for 80 less on amazon.
bought this for my daughter as a christmas present. She loves it
I love this styler. Use it daily it heats up literally in seconds straightens my super thick frizzy hair very fast and as of yet has not caused noticeable damage. I absolutely think it's worth the money. Also I was able to register my product it was a genuine ghd.
Between 27 BC and 102 AD, in Imperial Rome, women wore their hair in complicated styles: a mass of curls on top, or in rows of waves, drawn back into ringlets or braids. Eventually noblewomen's hairstyles grew so complex that they required daily attention from several slaves and a stylist in order to be maintained. The hair was often lightened using wood ash, unslaked lime and sodium bicarbonate, or darkened with copper filings, oak-apples or leeches marinated in wine and vinegar. It was augmented by wigs, hairpieces and pads, and held in place by nets, pins, combs and pomade. Under the Byzantine Empire, noblewomen covered most of their hair with silk caps and pearl nets.
I was worried that because ghd's are so powerful they would make my hair like straw but they have made my hair feel like I have been to the hairdresses everytime I straighten it I am very pleased with them as it has they are so quick and easy to use and heat up in no time. I would suggest them to anyone
