I have used this styler before and absolutely love it I have wavy frizzy hair and it helps tremendously with the friz and it straightens so effortlessly. I had ordered this and they sent me one within 2 days I went to register it online and the code did not work even after mutiple times so I left the seller a feedback message that was not too nice which I do apologize for but they were absolutely fantastic. They sent me a new one in which the code did work so these are genuine ghd stylers. Amazing product and it makes it even more amazing with great customer service. I highly recommend this product and this seller. Thank you

The historical dictum to brush hair with one hundred strokes every day is somewhat archaic, dating from a time when hair was washed less frequently; the brushstrokes would spread the scalp's natural oils down through the hair, creating a protective effect. Now, however, this does not apply when the natural oils have been washed off by frequent shampoos. Also, hairbrushes are now usually made with rigid plastic bristles instead of the natural boar's bristles that were once standard; the plastic bristles increase the likelihood of actually injuring the scalp and hair with excessively vigorous brushing. However, traditional brushes with boar's bristles are still commonly used among African Americans and those with coarse or kinky textures to soften and lay down curls and waves.
Hair care can be hard to shop for. You want to be picking products that are effective enough to achieve your desired results, without having to pay an exorbitant amount to get the job done. When it comes to hot tools, you also want to make sure you'll be using a product that won't cause undue damage to your hair — totally fried tresses are the opposite of chic. And while there's a whole world out there of pricey pro-level straighteners from high-end hair brands, it turns out it's actually possible to score a satisfactory straightening tool for much less.
keeps my wifes hair nice and straight for those rough nights.
I absolutely love this flat iron I purchased it because my friend who is a hair stylist recommended it. It is great I don't have to run it over my hair a lot it completely out straightens the chi. And I purchased it for less than half the retail value which is around 220.00.
The Apalus is another flat heated hair brush, primarily for use on dry hair. It applies constant heat when you turn it on, although it takes longer to warm up than models which use metal ceramic heating technology (this one simply uses ceramic plates). It can reach 180°F in 60 seconds, but will take three minutes to hit its top temperature of 450°. That can make this unit frustrating to use if you have to straighten thick hair.
These are not a good as the origanal ghds. I use them for curling but it’s as if they don’t get hot. They don’t seem as smooth on the hair either
The Apalus works relatively quickly, taking approximately ten seconds per pass to straighten most types of hair, although you will have to straighten small sections at a time. That makes it an inexpensive lifesaver if you need a quick straightening before heading off to work. The Apalus hair straightener can also be used as a detangling brush and massager to straighten frizzy or unmanageable hair, if used in conjunction with Agam essential oil or Moroccan oil.

You can select the required heat level from 170°F to 450°F which means this hair straightener suits for all hair types. For me, this is the best straightening iron for thick curly hair.  It heats up in about 30 seconds, and the current temperature is shown on the LCD. This KIPOZI ion straightener comes in rose pink, and its slick design is just great.
My first ghd styler. I was super skeptical about the purchase considering the 50 difference on their website. I was able to register it so I'm thrilled to say it's the real deal though I haven't tried it in my hair yet I know what to expect...
The L’Oréal Professionnel Steampod is unique in that unlike traditional hair straighteners, it relies on steam technology to straighten hair; reducing frizz and smoothing down the fibres. This technology provides gentle heat action which helps to minimise damage to the hair. Proven to be faster than other straighteners and giving up to 50% smoother hair, the Steampod is perfect for enhancing your blow-dry and giving you salon-perfect results each and every time.
I've tried other brands of straighteners and I have to say you really can't beat ghd's. They heat up really quickly and leave your hair shiny and soft. Having wasted money on other straighteners I wouldn't buy anything else again
This hair brush straightener is well-designed and comfortable to hold, with a 360° swivel power cord that lets you position the brush at any angle you find optimal. It comes packaged with a heat-resistant glove, in a gorgeous gift box. And somewhat surprisingly for a high-end product, it’s priced very reasonably. The team had no trouble ranking the Glamfields brush at #1.
The male wig was supposedly pioneered by King Louis XIII of France (1601–1643) in 1624 when he had prematurely begun to bald.[17] This fashion was largely promoted by his son and successor Louis XIV of France (1638–1715) that contributed to its spread in European and European-influenced countries. The beard had been in a long decline and now disappeared among the upper classes.
After the war, women started to wear their hair in softer, more natural styles. In the early 1950s women's hair was generally curled and worn in a variety of styles and lengths. In the later 1950s, high bouffant and beehive styles, sometimes nicknamed B-52s for their similarity to the bulbous noses of the B-52 Stratofortress bomber, became popular.[31] During this period many women washed and set their hair only once a week, and kept it in place by wearing curlers every night and reteasing and respraying it every morning.[32] In the 1960s, many women began to wear their hair in short modern cuts such as the pixie cut, while in the 1970s, hair tended to be longer and looser. In both the 1960s and 1970s many men and women wore their hair very long and straight.[2] Women straightened their hair through chemical straightening processes, by ironing their hair at home with a clothes iron, or by rolling it up with large empty cans while wet.[33] African-American men and women began wearing their hair naturally (unprocessed) in large Afros, sometimes ornamented with Afro picks made from wood or plastic.[14] By the end of the 1970s the Afro had fallen out of favour among African-Americans, and was being replaced by other natural hairstyles such as corn rows and dreadlocks.[34]
I have always used ghd and would never dream of buying any other brand. Last set died of exhaustion after 5 years. These ones are perfect and I get desired style waves curls straight crimped... Whatever I want every single time. Never let me down and they get nice and hot. Total breeze through my long thick hair.
My hairdresser really rates ghd products saying they know about hair and make sure their products style without causing damage. Everything about the ghd styler speaks of quality and a lot of attention to detail. The blue accented shoebox outer packaging is pretty enough to use for long term visible storage a heat resistant mat wraps around the storage bag and the straighteners themselves have metallic icy blue accents bringing the whole thing together into a coordinated package.heating up time is fast at a few seconds with a helpful 'beep' sounding at switch on accompanied by a flashing light. You are alerted to full heat attainment by further beeps and a constant light. A full head of curly tending towards frizzy shoulder length hair was straight within a couple of minutes.the cord length was ample for my requirements and the straighteners proved easy to use. The plates made short work of the task and a useful silicone guard safely holds the plates together once you're done. Everything then packs neatly away into a storage bag which has a divider to ensure the lead and plug remain separate to the styler and around which the heat resistant mat clips into place.in summary• fast heat up time of a few seconds• beeps to alert once ready for use• easy to use with a generous lead• simple on off switch no temperature control needed • heat resistant mat and storage bag• silicone guard to hold the plates closed for easy storagethis would make a beautiful gift whether to self or another delivering both practicality and icy good looks.

“This product really deserves its five-star review. Let be really clear here, I HAVE 4C HAIR … I spend so much time detangling my hair that it is ridiculous! I mean hours, and I have tried every trick in the book. By the time I finish one section, the other has gotten tangled again. My hair is so thick that it would take me 45 minutes to blow it dry, so I just never did it. [With this brush,] I was able to blow dry my hair on the cool setting in 20 minutes. I did use heat protectant along with a leave in in as well as some black castor oil heavily on the ends. I am able to comb through my hair now. I am so relieved. I think I am going to start seeing some real growth now that I will not be putting off my wash days because I simply don’t have the time for all that detangling. Not to mention that I was always losing a lot of hair with the detangling process. … I did notice that the high setting was really hot, I just used the cool setting and it worked wonders. The bristles are very malleable and the bristle tips are rounded. I have read that some folks have had a problem getting their roots to dry. I had no problem at all. This product is well worth the price. I would have paid three times as much just to be able to part my hair without all of the tangles.”
I bought these for my partner to replace her old pair of ghd ten years old . It turns out that these are the only brand worth buying so if your loved one has asked you for a pair of hair straighteners buy a pair of ghd's. There may well be cheaper straighteners on the market but they will not satisfy be warned . They also turn off automatically after a while so there are no more return trips to the house to check that they're off.

Straighteners work because they have flat plates that get hot and touch together on either side of your hair. By doing that, they put heat through your hair follicles, trap in moisture and take out frizz. The plates on a flat iron can be made of several different materials, and they’re good for different uses. The best iron for you varies depending on the type of hair you have, the type of styling you want to do, and the amount of heat your hair needs.
We love the fact that the ceramic heater ensures the iron heats up super fast. Even better, you can be sure that you’ve got all that unruly hair under control in 10 minutes or less (expertise required, of course). While there’s a lot to love about the BabylissPRO, it doesn’t have an automatic shut off feature. It also is a bit heavy and bulky. And the price isn’t anything to sniff at either.

If you have ever visited a luxury spa or wellness company, you have probably run across far infrared heat a time or two. Without going into too much science, infrared heat is the same heat you feel when the sun kisses your cheeks and warms your body from the inside-out. Far infrared heat, in particular, has been used by medical and wellness professionals for years to treat a variety of conditions from muscle pain to even cancer.
There are all manner of detangling tools available in a wide variety of price ranges. Combs come in all shapes and sizes and all manner of materials including plastics, wood, and horn. Similarly, brushes also come in all sizes and shapes, including various paddle shapes. Most benefit from using some form of a wide tooth comb for detangling. Most physicians advise against sharing hair care instruments like combs and clips, to prevent spreading hair conditions like dandruff and head lice.
replacement for my girlfriend's straighteners her old model broke due to her accidentally dropping them down the stairs.previously straighteners were the best she has ever used guess what they were yup ghd iv stylershe won't use any others. Can't really comment anything else as I don't have enough hair to use them myself but she won't use any others

great straighten gets hot fast and works quickly only have to move through hair 1 2 times and its perfectly styled have tried other brands and this is the best one

The GVP Digital Ceramic 1-inch Styling Iron made it on our list because it heats up quickly, doesn’t snag or pull your hair, and features a digital display that you rarely see in models at this price point. The temperature settings range from 160 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. You can change heat settings in 10-degree increments. You can easily check the display to see whether the plates have reached your desired temperature because the display is in real time. It comes with a 9-foot long cord so you can plug it far away from a mirror if necessary.
Absolutely love this styler. I have extremely thick hair and have so many issues with my previous chi pulling my hair out. The ghd does not pull at all. Not only does it heat up super quick but it gives me a perfect do in no time a must buy
I really liked this device it has light weight and easy to use. Also it is become hot in few seconds.
You may as well wear a sign that says “SLIPPERY WHEN WET” when styling with what’s affectionately called “hair grease.” Pomades give the appearance of high shine with a wet, “freshly-showered” look. This product is used for classic comb overs to slicked back, red-carpet looks. Traditionally pomades have been oil based and difficult to wash out, but over at Hanz de Fuko, we’ve fixed that problem...
love this straightener. It heats up really quickly and will automatically shut off after a while an hour I think if it hasn't been used. It only has one heat setting. Also it's universal voltage so I was able to travel overseas with it very easily.

The great thing about beauty is that there is something for everyone. Even as the trend these days is skewing towards plenty of texture and heatless styling, the tried-and-true flatiron still has its place. I mean, with social media going crazy over the super-sleek look of glass hair, it's clear that straight hair ain't going anywhere. After all, some of us just want smooth strands from time to time — or, depending on who you are, most of the time. But pressing your hair between two scorching-hot plates can be a recipe for a dried, sizzled, frizzy disaster. Or at least it can be if you're using the wrong flatiron. On the flip side, using a good one can make all the world of difference. And that's where we come in. We've scoured the world of flatirons to bring you the best of the best, at a range of price points. So whether you've got the coins for an affordable Conair or can shell out the big bucks for a Harry Josh, these 20 straighteners will give you that just-back-from-the-salon look — minus the scorch.

There are many women for whom a flat iron simply isn’t the right choice; their sensitive or thin hair is quickly turned to toast by the high temperatures produced by flat irons. That’s why electric hair brush straighteners became an overnight sensation a few years ago when videos of these often odd-looking contraptions started popping up on YouTube and Facebook. Manufacturers quickly responded, and today there is a wide variety of brush straighteners to choose from.
love love love this flat iron. I have gone through two quality flat irons in the past few years. Both had wiring issues. I did the research and was looking for a great deal on a high quality product. I totally got it with this product. I was worried with some of the reviews that it wouldn't be a ghd product but before I even used it I made sure I could register it... And I was able to. Does a fabulous job straightening my hair... Love that it takes only a few seconds to heat up. And puts itself to sleep if its unused for 30 min. That was my biggest complaint about my previous solia

While there are a lot of great options to choose from, our all-around top pick is the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener. Featuring unique, keratin-infused plates for optimal shine and less damage, the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener proves that technology really can make a difference when it comes to hair care! We also love this model’s innovative smart heat sensors that protect hair from heat damage and lock in moisture.
Unlike infrared saunas or even other hair straighteners on the market today that emit a blast of infrared heat, this Solano hair straightener was designed to slowly warm your hair similarly to how the sun warms your skin over time when you are exposed to its rays. The result is evenly distributed heat for superior hold without the shock of putting your hair under intense temperatures all at once!

thank you

However, the plates may be too narrow for those with long hair. Also, the heat settings do not indicate temperature so you don’t really know how much heat you’re exposing your hair to. Though, you are aware that the temperature range is 280 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Take note that there’s no automatic shut off feature. But for the price and performance, a lot of people are saying “hell yeah” to this product.
We usually roll our eyes at oil-infused heat tools — but you can actually watch this oil being sucked right out of the refillable cartridge in the handle. When you press the iron closed over your strands, the oil vapor seeps through tiny holes to condition and straighten your hair. And don't worry fine-haired friends: It made our tester's hair silkier, but not like she'd dipped it in an oil vat.
Okay so to begin I wanted a ghd being the top of the line hair straightener in competition with the sudo but I didnt want to pay the 200 price tag so amazon was my best choice.i want to say my previous hair straightener was a solia which is also one of the top hair straightener and I purchased it straight from folica.comcompared to the solia the ghd defiantly beats it and I'm very happy I purchased it.a lot of complaints for the ghd was that people kept getting fake non legit ones I am happy to say I received a legit ghd and you can too.the best way to know if it is legit whether it comes from amazon or not is to check the sellers reviews always do so . I usually buy from those who have usually more then 1000 reviews and score at least a 97 . That is how you know whether you are getting the real deal.second when you receive it to test its authenticity sign up for its warranty from the little paper they give you included. If it has the shiny sticker inside the clasps of the straightener it is most likely the real deal but to make sure you should sign up for again its warranty. If it goes through congrats you have a real ghd this is how you can tell if your ghd is a fake fake fake if it is made in china it is manufactured in p.r.c. Or south korea if the warranty does not work if you do not have the shiny sticker in italso be cautious when buying from a third party seller.also the warranty will most likely be voided if you buy from amazon but you should still sign up for it to check for its authenticity.hope this helped guys
The Herstyler flat iron comes with a protective glove which will probably come in handy as this professional straightener can heat from 180°F up to 500°F. It makes it really good at straightening thick and frizzy hair, yet the controls don’t have exact numbers in between the minimum and the maximum, so you’re supposed to guess the current temperature.
I use this daily. I have medium length naturally almost curly hair. I switched from a chi to this product at the recommendation of my hairdresser and love it I feel like chi went down in quality after my last purchase so I wanted a new brand. I like that it has the auto shutoff after a length of time so I don't have to worry about burning down my house if I forget about it. I will stay loyal to this product as long as the quality stays.
Hi do you have any views / recommendations on cordless or portable hot air brushes? I just bought a rotating hot air brush and love it as its easy to straighten and defrizz my hair while adding a bit of volume (I use it on slightly damp hair) but it’s just too big to carry. I am looking for an easy to carry hot brush that I can pop in my gym bag to help me finish off styling my hair after I rough dry my hair with the hairdryer at the gym. Thank you.
If you need a heavy duty flat iron for your hard-to-style, the BabylissPRO Nano Titanium-plated hair straightener should be just the thing. The width of the plates is 1 ¾ inches wide, perfect for those with longer, thicker tresses; you cover more surface area in one pass. It has LED temperature settings that reach up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The Ryton housing ensures that you never feel the heat in your hand even when the temperature’s at maximum.
it came on time and was greatly packed. Great straightener to use overseas too on my trip all I needed was a adapter
I have the heated brush and Instyler. I find that I use the heated brush more only because it is easier and quick as a bed hair controller. The Instyler does need to be handled with care a little more as the barrel is hot but I got a safety cage with mine until I was confident. The Instyler is effective when I am starting from a mass of curles and I want straight. I never use any on wet hair I think that is asking for trouble. I don’t know that one is any better than the other just different options for different times.
I have spent years and years looking for the ultimate set of straighteners but have always resisted the ghd's because of the price but I finally gave in and ordered a pair this sunday and they arrived today I can assure anyone that these are the real thing the serial number has been authenticated by the official ghd website. As for the results wow my hair has never felt or looked so good and I have fine curly frizzy hair I have even washed the car and guess what no frizz or curls please order them you seriously won't be disappointed

ghd is huge in australia the creme dela creme of hair straighteners. It is not as big yet in america which I found strange but I think its because of all the other brands that were so good that are now not so good.i have moved to america for a year and my australian ghd does not work here wattage difference or something it doesnt heat up . So I just wanted a cheaper but still good straightener for the year or even one that I could take home and still use I've read america to aus is fine but not the other way . I have had my australian ghd for almost 5 years now and it works as good as the day I bought it. 5 Years I looked at chi hsi babyliss all the straighteners on amazon and other websites. I was scared of all the horrible reviews each of these brands got that they stopped working after a certain time that they were fake the ceramic plates started to chip etc. There were plenty of good reviews too but the bad reviews scared me. I am usually an unlucky one with products turning crappy. I know I'm only here for a year but I dont want a crappy straightener. I want one that makes my hair look and feel fabulous and that I can use to straighten and create awesome curls. Thats why I decided to buy another ghd. They honestly are amazing and I think they will just be so huge in a year or two unless the other brands pick up their act they are worth the price cheaper than in aus and they last forever. Ghd have a authentication tool on their website to make sure you got a real legit straightener. They have lots of videos and how to's as well which is great for those who have no idea what they are doing which is what I started off as.my australian hairdresser first recommended ghd to me and now my american hairdresser also recommended it to me as it is what she uses in the salon and at home she also happens to be a friend so I trust her . The brand truly is the best and will make your hair feel fabulous.i have long almost to my elbows thin fine coloured and highlighted damaged hair. The ghd doesnt damage my hair any further than I already do at all. I use their products to style and eufora shampoo and conditioner. I believe that the products you use including shampoo and conditioner really impact a the way you hair looks and feels after being styled and b the way the straightener works and reacts to your hair.cons expensiveno heat controlpros it makes my hair look silky and stylishno frizz whatsoevermy hair looks so healthy after I straighten with the ghd rather than all broken with flyaways like cheaper straightenersit lasts forever its so easy and quick to usedoesnt kink or burn my hairthe plates are rounded making it super easy to curl even for a novice like mei can straighten my hair perfectly in less than 15 minutes.it automatically switches off within thirty minutes if it remains unattendedi can curl my hair in about 20 25 minutes I'm not very good at it temperature is automatically controlled so the heat distributes evenly on the surface of my hair.its lightweightheats up super fastit doesnt make my hair feel greasy and oily and I can leave it for a couple of days without retouching.i honestly believe that once you get a ghd you will never happily go back to another brand. They are amazing and worth every penny. You wont regret it.please note I purchased my ghd from folica.com amazon is cheaper but I was weary of the possibility of a fake one. There are so many different ones on amazon it confused me so I just jumped on over to folica.com and got 20 off it was more expensive than amazon but definitely cheaper than home or shops here. I have just purchased crappy fake products online not amazon before and was more confident in folica.com this time round.
In a word wow. I didn't think it would but this ghd straightener blew away. I turn it on and in about 5 minuets am ready to start making passes. There is only one heat setting hot and it's perfect. The weight is amazingly light it's thin easy to hold and doesn't fatigue my wrist.i've been using a different pro straightener and was certain nothing could compare. The one I had been using had options lots and lots of options. The ghd offers only one option and that is amazing.the auto shut off is also a very very appreciated feature yes this is not cheap. But the investment is well worth the cost.
The straighening ceramic plates of the ghd Gold Pure Gold Styler boast a new dual-zone technology and heat up in just 25 seconds. The dual-zone technology features two heat sensors that regulate the optimal temperature of 185°C from root to tip as you straighten, ensuring your locks are straight and ultra-sleek. The shimmering gold design adds a touch of luxury to the styler as the round barrel shape makes the Gold Pure Gold Styler perfect for easy, versatile, snag-free styling.
I gave it to my daughter in law for christmas and she absolutely loves it that made me feel good.
I had an older set of ghd's which lasted nearly 10 years. So I replaced them with these. Delivery was quick and the product is great. They heat up really quickly and the design is easier to hold when curling my hair.
