I totally love my ghd. When I was buying it here I was a bit skeptical. However almost two years now and my thing is doing great. I love it.
I have curly hair and so it always took me much longer to straighten my hair. I saw my sister had this straightner and so I tried using hers and it took me about 10 min to get my hair totally straight anyways my other straightner had broke so I bought this one and it's really really good. Would very much recommend
ghd does not fail to impress. After my 1st ghd iv styler which worked perfectly for 11yrs stopped working I felt handicapped not forgetting my hair looked like a mop. After using my new ghd iv styler I remembered how easy straightening hair is.
heats up super fast. Straightens better than the chi that I used before and also doesn't seem to snag my hair like the chi would sometimes. Very satisfied and hope it lasts for years to come.
best hair straightener ive have three of these straighteners and always love them. The only problem is that the cord shorts so be careful when you wrap it up. I would not recommend winding the cord around the straightener to put it away.
Absolutely 100 satisfied with my purchase. I love my new flat iron. I had no issues whatsoever registering my flat iron on the ghd website and received a response immediately that my purchase had been validated so I know I this item is authentic.
There are many women for whom a flat iron simply isn’t the right choice; their sensitive or thin hair is quickly turned to toast by the high temperatures produced by flat irons. That’s why electric hair brush straighteners became an overnight sensation a few years ago when videos of these often odd-looking contraptions started popping up on YouTube and Facebook. Manufacturers quickly responded, and today there is a wide variety of brush straighteners to choose from.
I have owned a ghd flat iron for about 3years. My daughter borrowed it on a daily basis. Decided to get her one of her own for christmas. I highly recommend the ghd.
The brush uses MCH technology, it takes approximately 30 seconds for the brush to reach temperature, and there are four temperature options that range up to 425°. There’s an automatic shut-off safety feature as you’ll find on most straighteners. As an added benefit, the InStyler can also be used to curl hair or flip ends, just by wrapping the hair around the barrel and letting it rotate for approximately five seconds.
Ghd have a big reputation to uphold and they more than maintain it with this wonderful gift set. The presentation box is worth a sentence alone. It's grandiose and gold really looks the part and will absolutely impress anyone who receives this.next onto the core part of the product the hairdryer and tongs. Both are of exceptional quality and you can tell that they are a cut above your usual high street products which might retail at a lower price. There are a good variety of settings on each of the products and these ensure that the products adapt to whatever your hair requires there is no doubt this pricey but in this case price really does equal quality and for that reason I can recommend.
love it. Straightens hair fast.
I ordered the one directly sold by amazon and it was genuine. It had the hologram sticker on the inside and I was able to register it on the ghd website.as far as the product ghds are the best straighteners out there and are well worth the cost.
This is an amazing styler I've used regular curling irons for the last couple of decades with my preference being a fatter iron. This is the first time that I've used a flat iron. I had a lot of fun playing with it and was surprised by how well and how quickly it worked. It heated almost instantly sounding a chime when it was ready to use. I sectioned off my hair and used it according to the directions on their website. It felt so slick and smooth as I pulled it down my hair that I wondered if it even made contact. However my hair was warm and perfectly straight so it did the trick it only took a few minutes for my entire head of hair to be stick straight. That's not how I wear it I was just playing. I found directions online for curling with the ghd styler and went to work. It was a little tricky at first because I was using it a way that I never used a curling iron. It didn't take long for me to get the hang of it and soon I had loose waves and curls that looked and felt wonderful. I'm thrilled with it the ghd classic styler that I received is genuine. Based on the comments here I immediately went to the ghd website and registered it and verified that it was the real deal. The only problem I had was reading the tiny date code printed inside the unit. I finally had to take a picture of it with my phone and enlarge it a little so I could make out the numbers.
Curling straight hair is relatively easy; perms and curling irons have been around for several years. Those with wavy hair that doesn’t relax even after blow drying, endure more tortuous methods to change the look of their locks. Hair relaxer (straightener) products and hair dryers released over the years have often been hit or miss with many users.
Love this straightener. It leaves my hair smooth and straight without frying the ends. Its also great for curling hair if you watch a few quot how to curl hair with a straightener quot youtube videos and you're able to get the hang of it so there is no need for both a curling iron and straightener. Also makes it easier to travel with less electronics. I received the hsi first and it fried my hair without even straightening it. This is the answer for all hair needs
Think of this as an updated version of your regular hairbrush. Its double negative ion technology gives your hair that glass-like shine without any static whatsoever. Its ceramic bristles with nylon cool-tips help keep damage to a minimum by releasing far-infrared heat — in a mere moment, it penetrates the outer layer of the hair cuticle and heats it from the inside out.
For the last 12 years I've been saying I don't need ghd's my hair is straight already. And my 20 cheap straightens work just as well bough these during the prime day sale. And I can't believe I've lived all this time with out them. So smooth. And been able to make styles I've only dreamed of before.
After the war, women started to wear their hair in softer, more natural styles. In the early 1950s women's hair was generally curled and worn in a variety of styles and lengths. In the later 1950s, high bouffant and beehive styles, sometimes nicknamed B-52s for their similarity to the bulbous noses of the B-52 Stratofortress bomber, became popular. During this period many women washed and set their hair only once a week, and kept it in place by wearing curlers every night and reteasing and respraying it every morning. In the 1960s, many women began to wear their hair in short modern cuts such as the pixie cut, while in the 1970s, hair tended to be longer and looser. In both the 1960s and 1970s many men and women wore their hair very long and straight. Women straightened their hair through chemical straightening processes, by ironing their hair at home with a clothes iron, or by rolling it up with large empty cans while wet. African-American men and women began wearing their hair naturally (unprocessed) in large Afros, sometimes ornamented with Afro picks made from wood or plastic. By the end of the 1970s the Afro had fallen out of favour among African-Americans, and was being replaced by other natural hairstyles such as corn rows and dreadlocks.
beautiful looking and feel very good quality. They are designed to be very comfortable to hold and I love that they switch on and heat up in seconds. They come with a mat to protect surfaces from burns and a good travel case. The cable is a decent length. Best of all they do a brilliant job on my hair and don’t seem to dry it up despite daily use. Unlike my old straighteners I have managed to avoid burnin myself too.
I was not expecting this kind of straightener from ghd. Complete waste of money. Cheap quality straightener.
I used to use a flatiron which doesn't curl the hair very well..leaves a crease in the hair. The ghd styler is awesome for both curling and straightening awesome product
I recently just had a funeral for my ghd classic 1 inch hair straightener after one of the blades stopped heating. I have had this hair straightner for almost 4 years longer than any of my relationships. It is absolutely amazing and I am defintiely buying another. I have went through all kinds of straighteners such as chi and paul mitchell. A chi will only last me a year. After a couple chi's this was confirmed case. I used my ghd every day and I dropped it religiously and it has lasted much longer than expected. My mother and younger sister have the same ghd that I used and is currently four years old too and is still working. It is worth the price by far and the quality and durablility is great. It also comes with a two year warranty which is twice as long as most. It heats up in a snap and it shuts off automatically if I accidently leave it on. I have thick curly horse like hair and this thing makes it pretty. I will continue to cry on the inside until my new ghd comes in. Love you ghd
Just what you expect from ghd the wife loves them and they do a fantastic job
