So the real question isn’t about whether people think that the GHD Classic 1-inch Styler is great. There’s virtually a universal consensus that it is. The question is about the reputation of the seller from which you are contemplating buying the GHD Classic 1-inch Styler. There are actually legitimate sellers who offer significant discounts, but they’re not easy to find.
New without original packaging. Glimmering gold accents and plates and an enhanced design give the ghd gold V classic styler a luxe feel. Smoother gold plates glide effortlessly through the hair to make straightening on all hair types and lengths even quicker and easier, while their contoured edges help to create perfect curls and waves, all with a high shine, salon-style finish. A handy protective plate guard also allows you to pack up your styler straight after use while an automatic sleep mode is activated if the styler isn't used for 30 minutes.  Universal voltage ensures you'll get the same styling performance wherever you are in the world, making this styler a great choice if you travel frequently.
For curling, place a section of hair between the plates closest to the scalp, clamp the plates, and turn styler through 180 degrees while holding the end of the strand. Pull styler through the hair slowly, always maintaining the 180 degree turn--it helps to slightly tip the nose of the styler downward, careful not to let the hair fall out. It also helps to pull the strand forward when trying to curl hair at the back of the head.
I gave it three sticks because my hair did eventually get straight and at no point did I feel like it harmed my hair, but it's not even adjustable because again, the company claims that this iron auto-adjusts according to hair "conductivity" or some bullshit like that (this is a laughable claim). It does have auto-shut off but so do a lot of irons (or at least the high end ones). Honestly, I can only conclude that this is another one of those hyped up beauty products aimed at people who think more $$$= better product and performance but a straightener is a straightener so once you get past the $100 price point it all comes down to personal preference and there's really not much more you're gonna get for your money...

Inferior hair straighteners take a very long time to heat, and you really need to make sure that they’re on their highest setting to have any effect. But that means getting lots of split ends, and you hair often looks frizzy, dry, and generally unhealthy. And once you go outside, if ever you live in an area that’s a bit humid the straight hair quickly goes to its default pouf settings.
I'm a journalism grad and avid makeup fan with an unhealthy addiction to buying nude lipsticks, no matter how similar they all may seem. I love chatting to anyone who will listen about my new favourite products, skincare dos and don'ts and practically any other beauty-related topic under the sun. That doesn't mean I'm frivolous with my recommendations, though--you can count on me to give you the nitty gritty on all your wishlist products. In my spare time, you'll find me binge-watching old episodes of Gilmore Girls or at brunch with a large iced coffee in my hand.
I have used ghd straighteners for the last three years and when they broke, I was devastated especially as it was a bank holiday weekend! No other straighteners were ever able to smooth my hair like ghds so I ordered another pair! After having 3 days of frizzy uncontrollable hair, I was delighted to have my hair back in smooth and beautiful condition, within minutes! I never dreamed I would become so dependent on my ghds but I wouldn't be without them now. Thank you so much for a prompt service!
BEWARE of sellers with LOW FEEDBACK! Ask sellers questions about the 22 things I have pointed out above. If they do not answer, don't buy! If they make excuses, don't buy! Also, some buyers who have been ripped off are trying to resell their GHD's to cut their losses. Watch for things like "I got it as a gift" or "I recently cut my hair". One of the seller's I purchased from was supposed to be shipping out of Georgia but he really shipped from China. Don't believe everything you read about a seller's information. They can lie.
