This flat iron stopped working less than a year after I bought it and ghd will not warranty a replacement one because Planet Beauty or Amazon is not an authorized retailer for their products. Buyer BEWARE....if you purchase from here it will void the manufacturer warranty and you will waste your money just like I did. Planet Beauty was NO help to me in getting my flat iron fixed or replaced!

It’s the fact that it’s so popular that so many people are trying to peddle fake copies. It’s hard to believe that people would try to come up with fake ghd straighteners, but they’re now like Zippo, Louis Vuitton, and other iconic brands. There are so many fakes around!

One editor’s trusty Classic Styler is still going strong after 4 years of almost daily use.
GHD used to be amazing however now the products are cheaply made. I have had many over the years and now done with them. Every single one of my straighteners just stopped working one day. (conveniently just after the warranty). Unfortunately won't be re-purchasing a GHD unless quality changes. Customer Service also not the same, no longer interested in helping.
Contact GHD asap. That's how I knew something was off with my straightener. The first time it happened the same thing to me, I turned it off, removed from the plug and waited and tried to turn it on again but I still get the red light flashing on and off. I tried doing it for a few times but still had the same issue so I contacted GHD and they replaced my straightener but after a few months it happened again. It sucks because for the price we pay for these straighteners we expect quality but unfortunately it isn't the case with these products.
