love it. Straightens hair fast.
* * * Update: After returning the above-described item, I bought a ghd Classic Styler in-person from one of their authorized salon dealers (info at ghd's site). When I went to register the hologram and date codes, the ghd site accepted them on the first try. Also, the second unit I bought HAD country-of-manufacture information on the box and on the date sticker (made in China, which some other comments said isn't legit, that seems to be wrong). My unit labeled made-in-China is the one that registered successfully with ghd. Also my second purchase - from the authorized dealer - had a lot of information printed on the bottom of the box, including a bar code, web info, consumer information phone number, design info and information about the product. The unit I purchased from Amazon had NO printing on the bottom of the otherwise authentic-looking box. Draw your own conclusions. Bottom-line: if you buy a ghd styler here, double and triple-check that your unit is for real.

The hairdryer is quiet and efficient. It has all the features you expect to find. Introducing ghd curve®, the new range of curling irons & wands from ghd. Featuring tri-zone® technology for gorgeous, shiny, bouncy curls that last as long as you do. I received my styler on time and was able to register it so it's the real deal. Very easy process. This iron leaves my hair soft shiny and straight I love it more than my paul brown which I have used for years. I highly recommend it to anyone.

The ghd classic 1 inch styler is the bomb it heats up in seconds after being turned on feels balanced and streamlined in my hand has a swivel cord that never gets tangled and safety guards at the tip to prevent accidental burns. I can now style my long hair in half the time it formerly took.
Great styler. It doesn't really live up to the hype but the hype was overinflated so let's not blame the product. I was able to register mine with no problems. Other people have covered what the ghd styler can do so I won't go into it. If you're pretty satisfied with your existing hair tools this won't change your life but it's a solid tool and works well.
My hair stylists have always used ghd straighteners on my hair and I finally broke down and bought one after using other cheaper straighteners. I have very curly hair and the ghd gets my hair silky straight with no frizz it does get a little bit of wave to it after about an hour but that may just be the humidity and heat reacting with my hair. As soon as I go back over it with the ghd it is perfectly straight again. It is authentic with the hologram sticker circuit breaker plug and ghd product registration. A great deal on a great straightener
Love this straightener
Love this straightener
I got a genuine ghd flat iron and was sure to register it right away. Some others say they didn't get a genuine one but mine was. It works very well and makes my styling time much faster. I like knowing I'm not frying my hair with an over the counter flat iron.
Excellent buying
The RUSK Professional Straight Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy frizz-free, kink-free, smooth, silky, straight hair. Now, this baby makes use of ceramic and tourmaline infused plates along with Sol-Gel technology which protects your hair from damage and makes your hair smooth and shiny. It’s very lightweight that you barely feel it as you use it. It gets hot pretty quickly and is really great at making curls.

this is my third ghd flat iron. Great quality. Won’t fry your hair. Everything else takes a back seat to ghd.

it might be expensive but when you have a lot of holiday functions to attend getting it right first time is a must and for my other half that means going with a quality brand to do a fab job. She loves her good hair day products and with this little gift set on hand she's not only going to feel pretty damn special but will enjoy using it. Ok so it might be a christmas present but hey who says that the lady in your life has to wait it can be an early gift and perhaps day one of her own personal advent calendar.right yes its pricey however other products we've had from them have lasted years of constant use and as mr royce used to say quality is remembered long after price. Add to this a swish presentation box that looks nice and expensive alongside some straightners that will help get those tricky little bits on the side that just love to fluff up and all round I know that my other half is going to be more than happy. Ghd you're stars.
amazing styler curls my stubborn hair perfectly
works like and charm and is authentic

This straightener is amazing. Although it only has one heat setting it heats up immediately and gets the job done. It doesn't feel like it's frying my hair. I love it.
as a hairstylist I'm picky about my tools. Read great reviews on this flat iron and it was on a sale. Came in a gorgeous box the tool itself is sleek and slim. Great design. Heats up in 15 seconds. Perfect grip. Love it

From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]
nice product nice enough for my daughter to order it and have me ship it to china where she is attending school for 6 months said she couldn't live without it and didn't want another brand that would burn her hair. Fast delivery as far as I know no problems.
In the middle of the 18th century the pouf style developed, with women creating volume in the hair at the front of the head, usually with a pad underneath to lift it higher, and ornamented the back with seashells, pearls or gemstones. In 1750, women began dressing their hair with perfumed pomade and powdering it white. Just before World War I, some women began wearing silk turbans over their hair.[14]
my second purchase of ghd straighteners with the previous ones lasting 5 years with no loss of performance during this time. I use them daily. Hopefully these will last as long. Purchased from amazon as they offer such good customer service as well as a good price. There are a lot of fake ghds out there on other websites who are selling them at cheaper prices.
