so many people gave negative reviews for this product. However I bought directly from amazon ghdprofessional and I can register mine successfully. Also after comparing with my old genuine styler I know the new one is not fake. Don't be bothered about on earth how many holes on the cord because both of my stylers have 2 holes. So just go from amazon ghdprofessional directly and you can save a lot.
I was just replacing the one I had. Great flat iron.
I have very tightly coiled african american hair. I used the blow dryer with a heat protectant and this iron got my hair bone straight and shiny. Its the holy grail basically in my opinion lol
this edition of ghd has luxury christmas present written all over it plus points impressive packaging that is eye catching made of heavy cardboard and signalling a luxury product.quilted case with mirrored blue button and separator for the straighteners and it’s flex to be kept separately.quality heat may that is detachable from the case.beautifully designed straighteners in the same electric blue as the packaging with a silicone heat shield at the end.safety features cut off after 30 mins and a noise alerts you to them being plugged in being switched on or being switched off.the switch is inside the straightener so that you don’t accidentally turn it off as you are straightening your hair.plates glide through hair creating straightness without effort and as they are at the optimum 185 degrees without that crimped look at the top where you first inserted the plates.improvements that would’ve made it a 5 I needed a slightly longer flex maybe another 1 2 metre.i miss the option to choose the temperature that I had on my old straighteners. I appreciate their advice about 185 degrees being the setting that works best but I have very fine hair which is also frizzy and like to have a choice so that I can accommodate what my hair is up to that day.
Whether you have particularly curly hair or thick locks, this T3 hair straightener is designed to leave you with a shiny finish in a fraction of the time of other hair straighteners on the market today. Specifically, the T3’s smart SinglePass technology maintains consistent heat throughout the entire plate to straighten all hair types with one glide.
Love the styler.
The Bio Ionic Onepass Pro Straightening Iron makes use of Silicone Speed Strips to speed up the straightening of your strands while providing increased shine. The NanoIonic mineral hydrates your hair, seals in the natural oils, and smoothens the hair cuticle to create frizz-free, silky smooth hair every time. The flat iron comes with adjustable heat settings that range from 240 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a very long swivel cord – 9 feet! It heats up very fast and cools down just as quickly so you can easily pack it away if you’re in a hurry. The plates are 1.5 inches wide which is perfect for long, thick tresses.
Haircuts also occur in space at the International Space Station. During the various expeditions astronauts use hair clippers attached to vacuum devices for grooming their colleagues so that the cut hair will not drift inside the weightless environment of the space station and become a nuisance to the astronauts or a hazard to the sensitive equipment installations inside the station.[49][50][51]
the order came quickly and as I live in france I found the plug system smart the straightener does wonders in very little time even though I have long hair I no longer need a brush and either a third hand to hold the mirror while doing my hair at the back of my head or twist my head and hands so as to hold brush plus hair dryer to do the back. I just hold a mirror in one hand stand back to the mirror and with the other hand hold the ghd which I just keep passing through my hair until it looks silky. A marvel thanks ghd
I use this daily. I have medium length naturally almost curly hair. I switched from a chi to this product at the recommendation of my hairdresser and love it I feel like chi went down in quality after my last purchase so I wanted a new brand. I like that it has the auto shutoff after a length of time so I don't have to worry about burning down my house if I forget about it. I will stay loyal to this product as long as the quality stays.

Literally the best flat iron I have used to date. The heat is always consistent no matter if my hair is wet or dry. I love how it heats up and beeps as soon as its ready in 30 seconds or so. I only have to spend one pass in each section.

This is a great flat iron. It self adjusts the temperature to fit the needs of your hair.
Just as described love it
Very good styler and much cheaper than in the store.always difficult to find good quality not damaging styler with dual voltage.very pleased
Wonderful product I just love it take it from me you must spend the extra money and buy the more expensive professional version of this product. It makes a huge difference great seller product came one day sooner than expected.
I borrowed this straightener from my friend when we were in vegas and I fell in love with it. I love the fact that it heats up almost instantly and is very lightweight. It made my hair silky and smooth. I had to get the straightener for myself and purchased it at a beauty supply store. This straightenr is well worth the investment. I replaced my old herstyler with my new ghd and I'm never going back
From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. It was normally little styled by cutting, as women's hair was tied up on the head and covered on most occasions when outside the home with a snood, kerchief or veil; for an adult woman to wear uncovered and loose hair in the street was often restricted to prostitutes. Braiding and tying the hair was common. In the 16th century, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles, often decorated with pearls, precious stones, ribbons and veils. Women used a technique called "lacing" or "taping," in which cords or ribbons were used to bind the hair around their heads.[14] During this period, most of the hair was braided and hidden under wimples, veils or couvrechefs. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive, and wealthy women frequently plucked out hair at their temples and the napes of their necks, or used depilatory cream to remove it, if it would otherwise be visible at the edges of their hair coverings.[15] Working-class women in this period wore their hair in simple styles.[14]
The 9-foot power cord means you never have to worry how far away the outlet is from where you’ll be styling your hair. It is more expensive than some of our other picks but it’s not as expensive as the BabylissPRO. However, it doesn’t have an automatic shut off feature and the temperature range only reaches 410 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, there have been reports from users that their HAI Classic only lasted a year or two.
absolutely love it the right size and high quality item. 100 Recommended it works perfect on my hair.
although they are selling a red version on their own website today for slightly less. So if you thought this was too cheap to be an authentic product don't worry. It isn't.

By far this is the best flat iron I have owned. Heats up quickly and does the job. Definitely worth the money

I love this product I have curly wavy medium thick hair and it makes my hair feel silky and smooth. The iron heats up really quickly and easy to use. This product came in brand new as if I had just bought it from the store myself love it.
easy to handle styles hair professionaly. Heating is fine it has good security of course without water touches . Looks great.
Absolutely 100 satisfied with my purchase. I love my new flat iron. I had no issues whatsoever registering my flat iron on the ghd website and received a response immediately that my purchase had been validated so I know I this item is authentic.
“The temperature of the iron can determine the curl pattern on hair that tends to fall easily, as you might need a higher heat to lock in the pattern closer to the root,” she added. “The internal components of the irons also can determine the curl pattern, and that is why it is important to invest in custom, high-end tools that contain internal heaters that go the entire length of the barrel. The higher the heat, the stronger the curl will essentially be. Low heat will produce a softer finish.”
love this straightener. Heats up in no time and makes my hair nice and silky. No burnt smells. And has auto shut off.
ghd launched its first advertising campaign in 2003, as the sponsor of the British reality television show The Salon.[20] The company has also featured prominently on Australia’s Next Top Model.[21] In November 2009, ghd ran a popular series of advertisements titled ‘Twisted Fairytales', including depictions of characters such as Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood, and Cinderella with the tagline "You can do anything with your hair".[22][23] Singer Katy Perry was named the face of ghd in December 2011.[24][25]
Negative ions have been a longtime fan favorite in the hair care industry, and it is no surprise that this same technology would appear in our top picks for the best hair straightener. Negative ions have been found to reduce static and frizz while locking in moisture, and the same goes for your hair when you use the CHI Air Expert Classic Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron!

Ever since the early 2000’s when the planet collectively decided that straightening our hair to death was a good idea, beauty companies have been searching for a way to achieve beautiful and natural-looking straight looks without frying or unnecessary damage. From ceramic plates to protective sprays and everything in between, we have been desperately searching for some way, any way, to show off a straight head of hair that isn’t entirely made of straw.
got my ghd classic 1 inch styler straightener today and was able to register it on the ghd site with no problem. I was a little hesitant to purchase through amazon b c of a few scary reviews that people had received fakes. If this one is a fake at least I was able to register it with non problem and will get a guaranteed from ghd as a replacement. I dont for see having any problems... I purchased this ghd straightener as a replacement to the one I purchased off amazon well over 4 1 2 years ago it just died last week . I loved my last ghd straightener good luck
If you are looking for faster results, a hair straightening brush is more appropriate – it is a hybrid between a brush and a straightening iron, used best on dried hair and effective even for the most unruly naturally curly hair. You can use the straightening brush on hair that is washed and dried, and obtain the straightening iron results with  much easier and intuitive brushing move.
it was real it registered and everything my wife loves it
The InfinitiPro by Conair has extra-long 1-inch tourmaline ceramic floating plates with 30 different heat settings (maximum heat is 455 degree Fahrenheit) and an extra long swivel line cord. It is perfect for creating silky smooth, straight hair or shiny curls. You can use it whether you’re hair is delicate, medium, or thick and hard-to-straighten. AND it has an automatic shut-off feature. It only takes 15 seconds to heat up which means that you can style your hair pretty quickly. However, like our first pick, the settings do not indicate the temperature. Also, the handle can get very warm. The plates also do not completely close unless you put quite a bit of pressure on them. It also doesn’t feature a safety latch that will keep the flat iron closed when you put it down while it’s still hot.

Great straighteners first pair for the missus and I think she is hooked. Loves the quick best up and thermal trip feature.

my last two flat irons were sultra. I decided to try a different brand since the last sultra didn't last nearly as long as the first. So far so good with this ghd. Seems to be on par with sultra or maybe slightly better especially how fast it heats up . I bought from a seller with 100 rating fulfilled by amazon. And was able to register the flat iron on ghd's site without any problems.
This lightweight styler heats up quickly and has 20 temperature settings for all hair types which reach a top temperature of 230 degrees; making it ideal for people who have thicker or curlier hair. The inclusion of a long swivel cord makes it easy to move the styler around your head so you can fully straighten the hair at the back. Because of the shape of the plates, you can use them to smooth the hair down for perfectly sleek hair, or use their curved edges for gorgeous curls.
The great thing about beauty is that there is something for everyone. Even as the trend these days is skewing towards plenty of texture and heatless styling, the tried-and-true flatiron still has its place. I mean, with social media going crazy over the super-sleek look of glass hair, it's clear that straight hair ain't going anywhere. After all, some of us just want smooth strands from time to time — or, depending on who you are, most of the time. But pressing your hair between two scorching-hot plates can be a recipe for a dried, sizzled, frizzy disaster. Or at least it can be if you're using the wrong flatiron. On the flip side, using a good one can make all the world of difference. And that's where we come in. We've scoured the world of flatirons to bring you the best of the best, at a range of price points. So whether you've got the coins for an affordable Conair or can shell out the big bucks for a Harry Josh, these 20 straighteners will give you that just-back-from-the-salon look — minus the scorch.
However, the search for the best hair straightener for your specific hair type can be daunting. In fact, it’s always difficult when it comes to choosing the right hair tool, whatever that may be. After all, we’re talking about something that could make or break your crowning glory. Well, have no fear on this one. We’ve taken the heat off your hair to find out which of the best hair straighteners work best.
This is so much better than the drugstore purchased flat iron that I've been using. The ghd classic 1 inch styler heats up fast and maintains the perfect temperature while styling my hair. The extra long cord 9 feet is something that I'm going to have to get used to but I do see how it would be perfect for professional stylists to use in salons. The ceramic plates come together perfectly and there's even a little extra give when I squeeze them over my hair. I appreciate that this has a reset button on the plug to keep the user from getting shocked while using. I even loved how this arrived in a beautiful box. My hair looks great and I am looking forward to using this for years to come.
the product is nice safe and easy to use.
Perukes or periwigs for men were introduced into the English-speaking world with other French styles when Charles II was restored to the throne in 1660, following a lengthy exile in France. These wigs were shoulder-length or longer, imitating the long hair that had become fashionable among men since the 1620s. Their use soon became popular in the English court. The London diarist Samuel Pepys recorded the day in 1665 that a barber had shaved his head and that he tried on his new periwig for the first time, but in a year of plague he was uneasy about wearing it:
I was replacing this with my previous ghd which I got for full price and worked great for years.. Though I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews but couldn't resist because of the price.. I checked the product the minute I got it and went online and found out I got the original..

I previously owned a basic chi for about 4 years until it recently stopped working. I bought this one after using a friend's ghd styler and I love it it does a much better job than my chi ever did and my hair stays straight for longer
Just what you expect from ghd the wife loves them and they do a fantastic job
