My very first GHD styler. I purchased this before cosmetology school and it worked for my extremely coarse hair. I used it quite often on myself and when I enrolled I used my GHD on my clients and it’s honestly top quality for a brand that’s accessible to at home use. I found this flatiron more consistent than the professional irons in my cosmetology kit.
I have used ghd straighteners for the last three years and when they broke, I was devastated especially as it was a bank holiday weekend! No other straighteners were ever able to smooth my hair like ghds so I ordered another pair! After having 3 days of frizzy uncontrollable hair, I was delighted to have my hair back in smooth and beautiful condition, within minutes! I never dreamed I would become so dependent on my ghds but I wouldn't be without them now. Thank you so much for a prompt service!
Where abouts do you keep your hair straightener? As it may be because its cold or has condensation inside it. This may sound funny but you actually shouldnt keep your GHD in the bathroom cause they can get cold and dont like it, or if u want to keep it in the bathroom then wrap it in a towel. This may fix the problem. If not then call GHD and you may be able to get a replacement. Hope this helps :)

My old straighteners which had served me well over the years were snagging, pulling and breaking both the damaged and newly growing hair but these ones glide through the hair with hardly any breakage. To have straight hair, you just mist your hair with the GHD thermal protector. You then start at the part of the hair that’s closest to the roots, and then you glide the GHD Classic 1-inch Styler to the tips in one smooth stroke. You can also follow the easy directions for soft movement and for curls, which involve some turning while you glide from root to end.
For me, the first and still very best of all ceramic stylers [and my dad is a hairdresser too]. It heats up fast, cools down relatively fast, works wonderfully and lasts a long time. In 11 years, I've bought two such stylers. The first one eventually died after 6 years of daily use, rarely skipping a day, while my second one is still going strong. I have no reason to recommend any other styler but this one. My hair is long and very fine.
