I was just replacing the one I had. Great flat iron.
I purchased this ghd styler as a gift for my wife replacing a pretty generic model. She has been extremely pleased with the results. The styler heats up in just a few seconds beeps to let you know it's ready. It has worked very well for her long thick hair. The other great feature of this styler is its automatic shut off. There were numerous times when she'd forget to turn off her old styler but with this ghd there's never a worry since it turns itself off. She's had nothing negative to say about the styler is pleased with its handling durability.
This lightweight styler heats up quickly and has 5 advanced heat settings which reach a top temperature of 230 degrees; making it ideal for people who have thicker or curlier hair. The inclusion of a long swivel cord makes it easy to move the styler around your head so you can fully straighten the hair at the back. Because of the shape of the plates, you can use them to smooth the hair down for perfectly sleek hair, or use their curved edges for gorgeous curls.
Between 27 BC and 102 AD, in Imperial Rome, women wore their hair in complicated styles: a mass of curls on top, or in rows of waves, drawn back into ringlets or braids. Eventually noblewomen's hairstyles grew so complex that they required daily attention from several slaves and a stylist in order to be maintained. The hair was often lightened using wood ash, unslaked lime and sodium bicarbonate, or darkened with copper filings, oak-apples or leeches marinated in wine and vinegar. It was augmented by wigs, hairpieces and pads, and held in place by nets, pins, combs and pomade. Under the Byzantine Empire, noblewomen covered most of their hair with silk caps and pearl nets.
The first pair I had had to be returned and I manged to get a a repalcment even though it was 30 days over the purchase. Was is excellentmy new ones are perfect and work like try ghds
Love this flat iron
best flat iron I've ever owned. My hairdresser recommended ghd and I couldn't be happier. I have owned chi in the past but bit the bullet on this one when my second chi quit working and I'm happy I did.
best flat iron I have ever owned and there have been a lot the ghd heats up within seconds and is ready for use.highly reccomend
Martin Penny, Gary Douglas, Susan Powls and Robert Powls founded ghd in 2001. The three collaborated to buy the rights to a hair straightening iron from a South Korean inventor. The brand quickly took off organically, and the company did not even begin advertising until two years after its launch. By then, hair salons and word of mouth carried ghd to £12 million, against a forecast of between £3 million and £4 million.
although they are selling a red version on their own website today for slightly less. So if you thought this was too cheap to be an authentic product don't worry. It isn't.
I was delighted to get this set as I am a carer for a young woman who has long hair which she loves to have straightened after washing. Her old straighteners have recently packed up so these could not have come at a better time.beautiful set by a well known and trusted brand who are known to produce good quality straighteners.this set comes with clips paddle brush and the straighteners plus a heat mat wrap.in use they are amazing and hands down the best straighteners i’ve ever used for my client who has quite thick hair. She absolutely adores them and loves being able to boost her confidence with a well groomed hair style.i am guessing these have been produced for the christmas shopping period and they are a beautiful luxury gift for anyone who has hair long enough to need them. The box is a very pretty gold colour and I can see it looking pretty on a dressing table.
Great styler but I was not able to register it with ghd. Pretty disappointed. They said that does not mean it's not authentic just that I did not buy it from an approved dealer.
Ask any seasoned hair stylist for a flat iron recommendation, and you will hear the same brand time and time again: CHI. Known the world over as a leader in hair care and styling, CHI is your go-to name for salon results at home. While CHI offers a variety of designs (and fun colors!) to choose from, the brand’s G2 Ceramic and Titanium model is what caught our eye when researching the best hair straightener. This hair straightener is packed with high-tech features and an upgraded, ergonomic design for the shiniest and straightest ‘do you’ve ever seen!
Love it I've had the exact same one for probably fiveish years and it finally took a crap on me. I just bought this exact same one again because I loved it so much I didn't want to risk getting a different kind only to be disappointed. My favorite part is that it heats up within seconds and doesn't pull your hair like a lot of straighteners do.
If being limited to only a handful of temperature settings isn’t really your cup of tea, look no further than the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron! This lightweight flat iron features a whopping 50 heat settings for hair types of all shapes, styles, textures, and colors making it one of the most versatile hair straighteners on our list.
wow purchased to replace existing ghd straighteners but these are even better.
I don't use the straightener very often but it has worked great for me. Gets very hot very quickly and does what it is suppose to do.
I had gone for years using mediocre flat irons not wanting to bite the bullet and just buy the expensive type. But man am I glad I finally did I've had this ghd for years now and it's never failed me. It heat up in seconds and doesn't fry your hair like other irons can. Would highly recommend spending a little bit more for a stellar product.
the best hair straightener I have ever used. Could not have been happier with the results.
My last ghds lasted me 10 years. The hair straighteners are really good when working however the ones i’ve been sent are faulty you can hear the electricity within the straighteners crackleing sounds like a loose connection so i’m scared to use them. Would be excellent if this wasn’t the case.
usual excellent quality. Never disapointed with ghd's
