Love it I've had the exact same one for probably fiveish years and it finally took a crap on me. I just bought this exact same one again because I loved it so much I didn't want to risk getting a different kind only to be disappointed. My favorite part is that it heats up within seconds and doesn't pull your hair like a lot of straighteners do.

It still works just as well as the first day I bought it. It is a very quality and reliable flat iron that holds up to its award winning standards. Since buying this product I have noticed more shine to my hair as well as little to no frizzing. It is effective in keeping my hair straight and smooth all day. In fact I have had friend’s use this styling tool and purchase it after using it because they loved how quick and easily it flat ironed their hair.before I purchased the ghd I used a chi flat iron compared to a chi straightener the ghd keeps my hair looking healthier and less dry. After using this product I would not return to using a chi straightener because of the positive effect the ghd has had on my hair. Although the cost is high it delivers the promised performance. This product is designed for men and women with thick and curly hair looking to straighten their hair in a fast and healthy way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that flat iron’s his or her hair on a regular basis

I bought this almost two years ago and still works well on my hair. Since I use it everyday it will probably have to be replaced soon. I will buy the same one again
The plate is the part of the hair straightener that heats up and used to press your hair. Now, hair straighteners come in different plate materials and sizes. Most plates have a width of 1 inch which work for most people and that’s perfectly fine. However, to really get the most out of your flat iron, you’ll need to consider your hair and styling needs when deciding plate size.

This feature is particularly beneficial for users with naturally wavy or curly hair, which can have a tendency to easily snag in hair styling tools. This floating design, combined with the heat sensor, also ensures that your gorgeous curls won’t become permanently damaged just because you decide to straighten things out a bit for an evening or two. After all, those curls are coveted by beauty pros the world over, and you never want to damage them just because of a styling trend!
my first time using ghd's and they are amazing I have never been able to get my hair to stay straight with anything else. I tried these and my hair looks fabulous well worth the money
During the 1920s and 1930s, Japanese women began wearing their hair in a style called mimi-kakushi (literally, "ear hiding"), in which hair was pulled back to cover the ears and tied into a bun at the nape of the neck. Waved or curled hair became increasingly popular for Japanese women throughout this period, and permanent waves, though controversial, were extremely popular. Bobbed hair also became more popular for Japanese women, mainly among actresses and moga, or "cut-hair girls," young Japanese women who followed Westernized fashions and lifestyles in the 1920s.[27]
Great price for a fabulous new flatiron I love the ghd brand I had a previous one it got fried when I went to paris due to voltage so the converter on this one is great

If your daughter is keen to straighten her hair, then I would suggest taking things slow and erring on the side of caution to avoid any potential damage to her hair. How you care for her hair is probably just as important as whether you go for a hairbrush straightener or a flat iron. I have listed some hair care tips below which will hopefully help you and your daughter.
bought for my wife to replace the last pair of ghd. She loves them
The Dafni is a “paddle” or “flat brush” type of hair brush straightener, while the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium is a “barrel” or rotating hair brush straighteners. In general, the “paddle” design is best if you are just after a brush to straighten your hair and the “barrel” design is best if you want to add some volume & shine, curl and style your hair (or have “very” long hair).
Cannot get better than the ghd's. Excellent buy for my daughter. Bought the protective treatment aswell for the hair. I wouldn't purchase any other type of straightener.
my hair legit gets all the time very frizzy and never gets straight. This product is amazing and I truly think it is the real ghd it heats up quick and my hair straight lasts a very long time. Great for the price... Totally worth getting.
I am a big fan of the ghd irons. I will not buy anything else. I have been a cosmetologist for 7 years and have had my first one since I started working and bought my second one for home 5 years ago. I highly recommend any style of ghd for any type of hair I've never ever had any problem with with either of my irons and use it throughout the day 4 days a week at work. To guarantee a real iron ask your stylist if they're able to get you an iron from their beauty supply distributer.

The Apalus is another flat heated hair brush, primarily for use on dry hair. It applies constant heat when you turn it on, although it takes longer to warm up than models which use metal ceramic heating technology (this one simply uses ceramic plates). It can reach 180°F in 60 seconds, but will take three minutes to hit its top temperature of 450°. That can make this unit frustrating to use if you have to straighten thick hair.
This hair straightener has diamond-infused titanium plates; making it a perfect choice for anyone who loves luxurious beauty. The plates provide a high shine finish so hair appears radiant and healthy. The advanced ceramic heaters heat up in just 15 seconds and have 3 different temperature settings so you can customise the heat to your hair type. The plates also have a curved edge to them; making them perfect to create loose curls and waves.
Late 17th-century wigs were very long and wavy (see George I below), but became shorter in the mid-18th century, by which time they were normally white (George II). A very common style had a single stiff curl running round the head at the end of the hair. By the late 18th century the natural hair was often powdered to achieve the impression of a short wig, tied into a small tail or "queue" behind (George III).
If you have stubborn, never-listens-to-me-no-matter-what-I-do hair, titanium is the material you need to set your eye on. Titanium is a metal that is excellent at conducting heat which means that your plates heat up quickly. This metal also keeps heat consistent so there are minimal changes in temperature that could damage your hair in the long run. What makes this great for thick, curly, unruly hair is that it can reach and maintain a high heat for quite a bit of time AND emit 60% more negative ions than ceramic. These two characteristics mean that you get to de-frizz your hair in a shorter amount of time with fewer number of passes.
As expected ghd are the best

bought one of these 8 years ago and it finally started going out so I ordered another one for my wife. Well worth the money in my opinion.

My first pair of ghd hair straighteners lasted 10 years and were in regular use so I did not hesitate in ordering another pair. The ghd iv stylers are every bit as good and definitely value for money they 'beep' when switched on and 'beep' agian when the irons are ready for use. The cord is flexible so it doesn't twist or tangle and the plates cool down quickly so can be stored away in record time. Overall I am delighted with this product and would not hesitate to recommend ghd as the 'rolls royce' of stylers.

Read all the reviews before ordering. My daughter has long curly hair and of coarse wants straight hair so nowshe can have both with minimal fuss and without destroying her beautiful locks. Using it in australia so dual voltage was important.
it came on time and was greatly packed. Great straightener to use overseas too on my trip all I needed was a adapter

My friend recommend this flat iron and I am so glad she did it works wonderfully. Heats up very quickly and beeps when its ready for use. Does a great job of straightening my long hair and it lasts until my next wash. Worth the money
Coming in at a close second, the CHI G2 Ceramic and Titanium Flat Iron is our second editor’s choice as the best hair straightener on the market today – featuring fool-proof and color-coded temperatures for easy straightening or who just wants to protect their luscious locks. We also love the digital display that is featured on the CHI G2 model along with its combination ceramic and titanium design for optimal shine!

Heats up fast. Does not rip hair or get hair caught in crevices. Works on thick curly middle eastern hair. Works great and quick on wavy hair also

This product is the real deal very pleased with it. I had it registered on the official site of ghd and its the real deal

EDITOR’S CHOICE: CHI has and always will be a powerhouse brand in the hair straightener industry, and the company’s new G2 Ceramic and Titanium Flat Iron is no exception! Packed with ceramic and titanium technology, this hair straightener was designed to give you silky, shiny styles without snags. We also love its easy-to-read, color-coded temperature settings, so you know the temperatures that you are using at any given time!

My last ghds lasted me 10 years. The hair straighteners are really good when working however the ones i’ve been sent are faulty you can hear the electricity within the straighteners crackleing sounds like a loose connection so i’m scared to use them. Would be excellent if this wasn’t the case.

With naturally curly read frizzy hair this miracle device is now my daily companion. Easy to use once you practice and only 15 minutes for really long hair.buy it you will love it ... And then start receiving amazing compliments about your gorgeous straight hair
When you’re shopping for a hair straightener it’s important to consider your hair type and the style you want for your hair. Some heat tools are designed to straighten and smooth your hair to prevent frizz while others may just be useful for basic straightening on hair that’s already fairly straight or simply wavy. Different temperature settings work better for different hair styles. Some straighteners are also great to create loose waves in your hair making them ideal for those who like to experiment with different hair styles. It can be helpful to read online consumer reviews when you’re choosing a hair straightener to ensure you get the best option for the money you want to spend.

Love love love this flat iron. Ive been using hot tools for about 10 years and have gone from the cheapest brand to the higher quality more expensive brands. I used a sedu revolution for 2 plus years and then reordered it when it conked out. This time I wanted something different. I've been using it for two weeks and so far I love it it heats up incredibly fast to just the right temperature and has an automatic shut off if I leave it on by mistake. I've been using it to straighten curl and wave my hair and the results are beautiful. Would definitely recommend this iron and hoping it will also last me longer than my previous purchases.p.s I was worried when I saw reviews saying they had received fake versions of this product so as soon as I got it I registered it on the ghd website and it all checked out.
love this straightener. Makes my hair smooth and shinney heats up within 30 seconds and does a quick and beautiful job
Not sure which temperature setting is right for your hair? We recommend starting slow and building up to higher heat settings gradually. Not only will you be able to perfectly identify the optimal heat setting for your hair, but you will also avoid overheating. After all, very few of us actually need upwards of 400° F to see the salon results we’ve always wanted!
I previously owned a basic chi for about 4 years until it recently stopped working. I bought this one after using a friend's ghd styler and I love it it does a much better job than my chi ever did and my hair stays straight for longer
It is one of the best straighteners I've ever used. Its lightweight and takes literally 15 seconds to heat up. Works perfectly and would not trade it for any other straightener.
You can select the required heat level from 170°F to 450°F which means this hair straightener suits for all hair types. For me, this is the best straightening iron for thick curly hair.  It heats up in about 30 seconds, and the current temperature is shown on the LCD. This KIPOZI ion straightener comes in rose pink, and its slick design is just great.
you me the nicest greeting and thank you for your dealings upscalei will deal with you thanksi will deal with you
Absolutely love this styler. I have extremely thick hair and have so many issues with my previous chi pulling my hair out. The ghd does not pull at all. Not only does it heat up super quick but it gives me a perfect do in no time a must buy

I was not expecting this kind of straightener from ghd. Complete waste of money. Cheap quality straightener.

Straightens my hair fast and does not snag or pull hair
First, there are the temperature settings. Obviously, different hair requires a different heat level. The thicker your hair is, the higher level of heat you should apply to straighten it. I highly recommend you to read the instructions which usually say what temperature you should select for your particular hair type. This may vary a little bit from one flat iron to another. The general rule here is the less heat you apply, the better your hair condition will be. And always use a heat protectant, regardless of your hair type.

Very well presented straightener that is fairly heavy and robust. My partner had a ghd for many years before this and was always really happy. This is even better. It comes with a nice bag but not much else. It heats up fast and does a really good job. I hope this will be just as relaible as her previous ghd model.

The FemJolie flat straightening brush is convenient because of its lightweight, less than one pound. It’s extremely flexible because it allows you to select temperatures as low as 176° (too low for most users, but not bad for a brief touch-up) and as high as 450° (the right setting for those with very thick hair) in increments of 9°. The brush auto-locks at your selected temperature so you can’t burn your hair by mistake and so it automatically heats to the right temperature every time you use it; you can easily override the auto-lock if you choose.
I have always used ghd and would never dream of buying any other brand. Last set died of exhaustion after 5 years. These ones are perfect and I get desired style waves curls straight crimped... Whatever I want every single time. Never let me down and they get nice and hot. Total breeze through my long thick hair.
100 genuine well pleased.speedy delivery will use this seller again.was more than a little dubious having read buyers complaining about fake ghd allegedly sold by this seller but a very simple test and no problem registering with ghd proves I have purchased the real deal at a great price.
