I love this flat iron I use it for curling and straightening my hair everyday it is 2 years old and works like a charm. It heats up so fast it does not leave any kinks and I am in love
Let’s face it: styling your hair is a 360° job. That’s why the folks at Cloud Nine have designed their Original Flat Iron with a swivelling 360° cord! No more tangled messes or twisted cords, with this hair straightener you can easily reach delicate fly-aways and seemingly invisible back sections without the hassle of a tangled or knotted cord ever again. When it comes to hair straighteners, the Cloud Nine Original Flat Iron really proves that perfection is in the details!

Bought these on the recommendation of nearly every female I know and I haven't been disappointed they arrived promptly well wrapped and I checked them on the official ghd site straight away. I have had sleek straight hair ever since...... They heat up quickly and the flashing light is a great guide to help remind to switch them off. A great price too considering most pairs I've seen are well over 100 quid.

love love love I owned a sedu for several years but when the cord shorted out I thought I would replace with another sedu. The reviews noted the same problem I had so I decided to go with another brand. I did a lot of research and read a ton of consumer reviews. I finally settled on this ghd flat iron. The price was great great reviews and as someone who is known to leave my flat iron on all day I loved the automatic shut off function very pleased with this it heats up within 10 seconds and straightens beautifully I got several compliments on how straight and shiny my hair was after using it great product very pleased

Just what you expect from ghd the wife loves them and they do a fantastic job

I got tired of trying to do a professional blowout on myself using my hair dryer with a regular round bush. My hair always came out frizzy, burnt, and just dead. After searching for a hot air brush I came upon the John Frieda brand and was amazed by the reviews, so I decided to give it a try. When the product finally arrived I was so happy! I tried it right away. I recommend letting your hair air dry first and foremost. If you're like me and it takes your roots forever to dry then go ahead and use your regular hair dryer with the flat nozzle thingy to dry your scalp first and just let it air dry. I was extremely happy with how easy it is to use.

the ghd classic 1 inch styler is the bomb it heats up in seconds after being turned on feels balanced and streamlined in my hand has a swivel cord that never gets tangled and safety guards at the tip to prevent accidental burns. I can now style my long hair in half the time it formerly took.
bought this for my daughter as a christmas present. She loves it
Introducing ghd curve®, the new range of curling irons & wands from ghd. Featuring tri-zone™ technology for gorgeous, shiny, bouncy curls that last as long as you do. Creative director of GLAMSQUAD Giovanni Vaccaro prefers this flat iron by Sedu. "The ceramic plates are really key to maintain the integrity and healthiness of the hair," he says. To get expertly straight hair, Vaccaro recommends using a boar-bristle brush to help mediate frizz, and that "the follow through is key" when moving the iron and comb completely from roots to tips.

The nano ceramic plates in this straightener deliver far-infrared heat, a gentler alternative in and of itself. As if that weren't enough, there's also a reservoir where you can pour in some of the (included) argan treatment and thermal protectant, creating a conditioning steam that will strengthen and safeguard strands while you straighten. Admittedly an extra step, sure, but one that's well worth it.
In the 1800s, American women started wearing their hair up when they became ready to get married. Among the Fulani people of west Africa, unmarried women wear their hair ornamented with small amber beads and coins, while married women wear large amber ornaments. Marriage is signified among the Toposa women of South Sudan by wearing the hair in many small pigtails. Unmarried Hopi women have traditionally worn a "butterfly" hairstyle characterized by a twist or whorl of hair at each side of the face.[42]
Easy-to-use and safer for strands, the ghd Classic 1" Inch Styler with ceramic heat technology operates at the optimum 365°F styling temperature for smooth, no-frizz styling. It delivers professional, long-lasting results, sealing the cuticle for a glossy finish that looks salon-done and stays flawless all day. Designed for utmost styling flexibility, the versatile one-inch round barrel makes it easy to straighten, curl, or wave all hair types and lengths. It heats up in 30 seconds and works fast so you can effortlessly create everyday styles in a snap, while the smooth-contoured floating plates glide through strands without snagging or pulling.
4 Out of 5 for ghd am I mad well not quite. These are excellent and certainly professional level instruments. Balanced good weight easy to use except and thoroughly well designed.hairdryer is quiet ish with more than enough power and settings to deal with most types of hair and styles. All in all an absolute delight.straighteners are almost perfect this is where the the small problem lies. First of all the good bits. Solid construction good smooth plates well balanced. Now the issue the settings. I know these are probably are professional and my gripe may be invalid but the heat setting is not high enough. Could be a decision made people who use them all day but for a once a day use I'd have preferred to be able to turn the heat up.
The GVP Digital Ceramic 1-inch Styling Iron made it on our list because it heats up quickly, doesn’t snag or pull your hair, and features a digital display that you rarely see in models at this price point. The temperature settings range from 160 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. You can change heat settings in 10-degree increments. You can easily check the display to see whether the plates have reached your desired temperature because the display is in real time. It comes with a 9-foot long cord so you can plug it far away from a mirror if necessary.
I bought this as a replacement for a 2008 ghd and whatever they have to change the models since I absolutely love it my hair comes out shiny and smooth and it takes me half the time to straighten my wavy hair as it did before. It heats up in 10 seconds.it also has not had any residue build up on it I've had it about 6 months whereas I used to have to clean my old straightener periodically.
works like and charm and is authentic
In March 2013, ghd launched the "Eclipse" hair straightener, which uses six sensors in the plates to maintain a constant heat of 185 degrees celsius, a temperature ghd claims is the optimum temperature for styling results.[17] The consistent temperature reduces the time to style hair, particularly coarse hair that may previously taken multiple run throughs.[18] The Daily Mail called the Eclipse "The Rolls-Royce of irons".[19]

Love love love this styler. I have very fine curly hair that requires washing or wetting every day to get the curls out. Now I can just re straighten it dry when ever I need a quick touch up. Never before had so many compliments.

I have gone through 3 chi straighteners my whole life and I was a loyal chi person. My friend recommended the ghd and it is amazing and so much better. Silky hair and doesn't make my hair flat
my daughter has long hair and loves the effects of the ghd styler. She even uses it to put waves in her hair.

This straightener is awesome especially if you travel. Unlike the chi you do not need a converter in europe. Just plug in an adapter and you are set
very nice and does not burn my hair like prev flat iron

I bought a ghd in london while traveling. I couldn't love a hair straightener more. It heats up so quickly and is universal voltage so you can use it anywhere in the world. I've had mine for over a year and use it almost every day. Don't mind the price it is worth it
the ghd iron is far superior to any other flat iron out there. I will never buy anything else. They last forever

This straightener is awesome especially if you travel. Unlike the chi you do not need a converter in europe. Just plug in an adapter and you are set

After reading reviews of imitation stylets I was still tempted because of the price. They registered online with no problem and are very effective. I had some ghds before which gave up and it was a false economy in purchasing an alternative brand before these. My non ghds are now designated to my emergency overnight bag and remain in the car.

The best hair straighteners should offer you adjustable temperature settings so you can customize it depending on your hair type. This is incredibly important if you have thin/fine, delicate, or damaged hair because it allows you to ensure that the iron doesn’t get too hot for your hair. Basically, having the ability to set the temperature/heat setting gives you more control. But if you prefer to have a set temperature, then you should take note just how much heat your hair can take and how hot your hair straightener can get.
Late 17th-century wigs were very long and wavy (see George I below), but became shorter in the mid-18th century, by which time they were normally white (George II). A very common style had a single stiff curl running round the head at the end of the hair. By the late 18th century the natural hair was often powdered to achieve the impression of a short wig, tied into a small tail or "queue" behind (George III).

I tried my friend's ghds before purchasing as I didn't believe the hype. How wrong could I be they are so much better than all the previous pairs I have owned and are well worth the price... And I only straighten my fringe which takes about 20 seconds
