I have 3a 3b curls so I need a high quality flat iron that won't burn my hair. I used to have a hai then a babylis. Both were very nice. Then I borrowed my friend's ghd on vacation and got spoiled. It got my hair flat and shiny. I was very impressed. When my daughter knocked our babylis over and it stopped working I knew I wanted a ghd to replace it. I watched the price here and when it dipped down low enough I bought it. I am very happy. It doesn't get as hot as my babylis but it still works amazingly. I was able to register the ghd on the website hologram and date code are on the arm not the tag . Highly recommend this product and seller

I love it heats up quick and turns its self off too.

Since the 1970s, women have worn their hair in a wide variety of fairly natural styles. In the 1980s, women pulled back their hair with scrunchies, stretchy ponytail holders made from cloth over fabric bands. Women also often wear glittery ornaments today, as well as claw-style barrettes used to secure ponytails and other upswept or partially upswept hairstyles.[14] Today, women and men can choose from a broad range of hairstyles, but they are still expected to wear their hair in ways that conform to gender norms: in much of the world, men with long hair and women whose hair doesn't appear carefully groomed may face various forms of discrimination, including harassment, social shaming or workplace discrimination.[35] This is somewhat less true of African-American men, who wear their hair in a variety of styles that overlap with those of African-American women, including box braids and cornrows fastened with rubber bands and dreadlocks.[36]
7 21 14 I purchased this flat iron on may 25 2013. I've used this product every day since then with no issues. Also the styler is not a fake and I was able to register it on ghd's website with no problem. I only buy products that are ship and sold from amazon.com only maybe that is why so many people have received fakes I'm not sure. I have course thick hair and this flat iron has been wonderful. The plates are hot but doesn't damage my hair or the ends. I would recommend this flat iron.
Whether you have particularly curly hair or thick locks, this T3 hair straightener is designed to leave you with a shiny finish in a fraction of the time of other hair straighteners on the market today. Specifically, the T3’s smart SinglePass technology maintains consistent heat throughout the entire plate to straighten all hair types with one glide.
The male wig was supposedly pioneered by King Louis XIII of France (1601–1643) in 1624 when he had prematurely begun to bald.[17] This fashion was largely promoted by his son and successor Louis XIV of France (1638–1715) that contributed to its spread in European and European-influenced countries. The beard had been in a long decline and now disappeared among the upper classes.
Very good styler and much cheaper than in the store.always difficult to find good quality not damaging styler with dual voltage.very pleased
The new 'dark' ghds are fabulous I love them. I have frizzy hair before using them but they leave my hair silky smooth perfectly straight I recommend them to everyone these are the best hair straighteners ever they're much better than chi. They get super hot are the best hair irons I have ever used. They last me about 1 2 years if I use them 3 4 times a week. My hair is just below shoulder length I can have straight sleek hair in about 15 20 mins.
I had this hair styler when it was first released and when mine finally died I was distraught as I could not find it, or anything like it, locally. When I finally found it on Amazon, I was so relieved! I am so happy to have this as it works great for me. My hair is short but I think your hair length is irrelevant. My hair is not curly but it has body and is a little coarse. When it rains or I am in a humid environment, it will frizz a bit. This hot air styler--which does away with the need for a separate brush--works perfectly to smooth out my hair and at the same time add volume and direction to my hair. A friend saw me using it at the beach recently and wanted to get one too. It ... full review

so many people gave negative reviews for this product. However I bought directly from amazon ghdprofessional and I can register mine successfully. Also after comparing with my old genuine styler I know the new one is not fake. Don't be bothered about on earth how many holes on the cord because both of my stylers have 2 holes. So just go from amazon ghdprofessional directly and you can save a lot.

Excellent straighteners. Best I have ever had.

Work great

Brant Mayfield, who styles everyone from Diane von Furstenberg to Nicole Scherzinger, favors this glossy white flat iron. "It has digital single pass technology, which helps for smoothness and contains an eternal microchip that maintains an even temperature," he says. The angled edges and ceramic plates will keep your hair smooth and without kinks.
Very well presented straightener that is fairly heavy and robust. My partner had a ghd for many years before this and was always really happy. This is even better. It comes with a nice bag but not much else. It heats up fast and does a really good job. I hope this will be just as relaible as her previous ghd model.
Bought these and have validated with ghd and they are authentic. My last pair of the same model lasted 13 years I travel internationally a couple of times each year and it is so easy to just plug into an adapter for the same power abroad.
This styler really works I can curl or straighten with it and the style holds all day without hairspray.
this is the best flat iron that I have owned. I had a chi and I liked it but it didn't last very long. I asked my stylist and she recommended ghd. This iron heats the plates differently than other irons. There is a much more conistent temperature across the plates which means you are going over the same area fewer times causing less damage.i have wavy hair and this tool does a great job of making it absolutely straight. I love it
The ghd dry and style gift set arrives in a lovely presentation box. I gave this set to my wife a present and she was highly impressed in receiving this quality brand gift set. The packaging oozes with quality and presentation style and suggests a item of high value and is bound to impress. My noted that the hair dryer was exceptionally good and based in comparison to other brands makes and styles she thought this was the best in value for money. The hair dryer is a item that my wife uses every day and important to her. She loves this the hairdryer in its handling and ability to blow dry hair as she would wish.the ghd styler is something that we have used on previous occasions when going out and wanted to look good and a bit special. There is a knack to style and but is quickly mastered with practice.given to the right person this is a gift set that is bound to please the quality of the items are very good and worth the outlay for the asking price.
I must say…ghd produces the best hair straightener. Have tried various brands of hair straighteners in the past and this brand is definitely worth the investment. As they say..once you go ghd..you never go back

Great product and fast shipping.
I don't know why I waited so long to invest in this product. I held off because of the price but now that I own it it is worth every penny I have fine hair that is very curly wavy. This styler makes my hair straight smooth sleek and shinny and it lasts until the next shampoo. It heats up super quick and is very east to use. I have read other reviews about whether it is an original product because of where it was made. My styler says made in china . Some reviewers claim is not an authentic styler if it's not made in korea . My styler had the correct id label on it and I was able to register it on the ghd website. For now I highly recommend this product. As long as it continues to work for at least a year or more I will be very happy with my purchase.

I just wanted a 'cheap' pair of ghds and these have done the job. To be fair you are almost guarenteed a great product when you buy ghd whatever the model.
Love this brand very happy
I must say…ghd produces the best hair straightener. Have tried various brands of hair straighteners in the past and this brand is definitely worth the investment. As they say..once you go ghd..you never go back
love it highly recommended and will buy again if need be. I've tried other flat irons and this one seems to work best for my wavy frizzy hair.
I will start by admitting that I really don't do much with my hair. It's naturally curly and I never even blow dry it. I gave my last flatiron to my daughter when she went away to college.but after using the ghd styler I think the reason I never did much with my hair is because I was always using substandard products. This styler doesn't pull my hair. It runs through smoothly. It takes at most two passes to straighten my hair. It heats up really quickly. I love the fact that the cord is super long and swivels. It doesn't leave my hair looking frizzy. It even helps to straighten out my cowlick at my hairline. It curls easily as well but I mostly just used it for straightening .it has an on off switch and a led light to indicate when it's ready to use which is about 30 seconds it's super fast . It's also dual voltage which is fantastic when I travel you just need to provide a plug adapter for the outlet .it's pricey but definitely worth the money. If you are in need of a styler to use every day invest in this one

A hairstyle, hairdo, or haircut refers to the styling of hair, usually on the human scalp. Sometimes, this could also mean an editing of facial or body hair. The fashioning of hair can be considered an aspect of personal grooming, fashion, and cosmetics, although practical, cultural, and popular considerations also influence some hairstyles.[1] The oldest known depiction of hair braiding dates back about 30,000 years. In ancient civilizations, women's hair was often elaborately and carefully dressed in special ways. In Imperial Rome, women wore their hair in complicated styles. From the time of the Roman Empire[citation needed] until the Middle Ages, most women grew their hair as long as it would naturally grow. During the Roman Empire as well as in the 16th century in the western world, women began to wear their hair in extremely ornate styles. In the later half of the 15th century and on into the 16th century a very high hairline on the forehead was considered attractive. During the 15th and 16th centuries, European men wore their hair cropped no longer than shoulder-length. In the early 17th century male hairstyles grew longer, with waves or curls being considered desirable.
Heats up super fast. Cord very long
* * * Update: After returning the above-described item, I bought a ghd Classic Styler in-person from one of their authorized salon dealers (info at ghd's site). When I went to register the hologram and date codes, the ghd site accepted them on the first try. Also, the second unit I bought HAD country-of-manufacture information on the box and on the date sticker (made in China, which some other comments said isn't legit, that seems to be wrong). My unit labeled made-in-China is the one that registered successfully with ghd. Also my second purchase - from the authorized dealer - had a lot of information printed on the bottom of the box, including a bar code, web info, consumer information phone number, design info and information about the product. The unit I purchased from Amazon had NO printing on the bottom of the otherwise authentic-looking box. Draw your own conclusions. Bottom-line: if you buy a ghd styler here, double and triple-check that your unit is for real.
Straightens my hair fast and does not snag or pull hair

great quality fast shipping
EDITOR’S CHOICE: As the only hair straightener we reviewed featuring Keratin-infused ceramic plates, the LumaBella Keratin Duel Touch Hair Straightener is our top choice for the healthy, shiny hair you’ve always dreamed wanted! With a unique, floating plate design and smart heat sensor, this hair straightener is ideal for a variety of hair types and reduces breakage and splitting by up to 50%.

However, the plates may be too narrow for those with long hair. Also, the heat settings do not indicate temperature so you don’t really know how much heat you’re exposing your hair to. Though, you are aware that the temperature range is 280 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Take note that there’s no automatic shut off feature. But for the price and performance, a lot of people are saying “hell yeah” to this product.
the ghd classic 1 inch styler is the bomb it heats up in seconds after being turned on feels balanced and streamlined in my hand has a swivel cord that never gets tangled and safety guards at the tip to prevent accidental burns. I can now style my long hair in half the time it formerly took.
In the early 1870s, in a shift that historians attribute to the influence of the West,[26] Japanese men began cutting their hair into styles known as jangiri or zangiri (which roughly means "random cropping").[27] During this period, Asian women were still wearing traditional hairstyles held up with combs, pins and sticks crafted from tortoise, metal, wood and other materials,[14] but in the middle 1880s, upper-class Japanese women began pushing back their hair in the Western style (known as sokuhatsu), or adopting Westernized versions of traditional Japanese hairstyles (these were called yakaimaki, or literally, soirée chignon).[27]

Nothing much to say except for this is the best investment I've ever made it leaves my hair so perfect and I love that it goes into sleep mode. Such a cool feature

Purchased this straightener and I absolutely love it gets my hair straight a lot faster than the cheap ones. The cheap ones I had to go over and over my hair. This one works much better faster gets my hair nice and smooth. It also curls my hair well when I put a wave in it. It may be pricey but worth it. It also doesn't cool down. The cheap straighteners tend to loose their heat as you use them. This one stays hot
Consider this the perfect flat iron for full hair. "It is great for thicker textures because it distributes heat evenly, allowing for less passes through the hair," explains stylist Lacy Redway. The plates "make it easier to straighten or curl longer hair lengths." Redway was responsible for  Tessa Thompson’s sleek ‘do on her past ELLE cover, so you know it’s top-notch.
Like everyone else I was really afraid of getting a fake ghd product from here. In the past I have been ripped off before when trying to buy this straightener but I took a chance anyway and its real I verified it on the website and I got an email back saying its authentic. I am really pleased I got this straightener for 90 dollars
why did I wait so long to buy these straightners they are fantastic I have had another make for years and thought they were good for my hair which is thick and strong. Since using ghd I now know why friends have been asking me to get ghd. My hair is so much sleeker. Great
Historically, working-class people's haircuts have tended to be practical and simple. Working-class men have often shaved their heads or worn their hair close-cropped, and working-class women have typically pulled their hair up and off their faces in simple styles. However, today, working-class people often have more elaborate and fashion-conscious hairstyles than other social classes. Many working-class Mexican men in American cities wear their hair in styles like the Mongolian (shaved except for a tuft of hair at the nape of the neck) or the rat tail (crewcut on top, tuft at the nape), and African-Americans often wear their hair in complex patterns of box braids and cornrows, fastened with barrettes and beads, and sometimes including shaved sections or bright colour. Sociologists say these styles are an attempt to express individuality and presence in the face of social denigration and invisibility.[47]

although I am pretty ancient I had never used straighteners until last year when I thought I'd try them out. I bought some cheap ones which did the job but the sides used to catch on my hair and break it. I don't have enough hair as it is so definitely can't afford to tear any of it so thought I'd try these ghd ones after a friend recommended them. They cost about 5 times what the others did but they are at least 5 times better. They heat up quickly and never catch my hair. Fab. I love them.
